I was relatively new to UC and was private renting after fleeing domestic abuse. I moved to another place with help of council and LHA remained the same. Only recently, despite address being changed everywhere else, I realised address was wrong on UC. I informed them and they didn't give me a penalty saying they understood…

Migration to UC, when to start the claim...
Hello, My deadline to claim for UC under the WTC migration is the 13th of June. My next TC payment is on the 11th of June. Would the best idea be to start my claim online and fill out the different sections. Then submit it on the 11th June, or is it better to get it filled out now and submitted? Thx

Universal credit
I got a letter saying that Universal Credit will be replacing working tax credits. But it’s not really a replacement, is it. Working tax credits never took into account your savings/investments but universal credit seems to. I am curious, is there a way to work out how much savings will be too much to bother with UC? As a…
