Well, called them tonight to see what they would offer:
Flext 25 + WNW with 25% discount - Phone price £150
Flext 30 + WnW with 25% discount - phone price £110
Flext 35 + WnW with 25% discount - Phone price £70
I don't think this is too bad as the 3rd party offers don't include the 25% tariff discounts.
Does this sound like a reasonable deal?

Is it a 25% discount, or the 'up to 25%' discount on their website?
The Vario is £30 more for the respective tariffs for new customers. Not the greatest discount?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Full 25% discount.
To be honest, I was suprised to get anywhere new customer tariff as with other providers you are always better off being a new customer.
I think the extra £30 discount is because of Web'N'Walk. Not mentioned on the t-mobile site, but if you go to some of the 3rd party retailers like ukphoneshop, they show different prices depending on 12mnth or 18 month, with or without webnwalk.
I'm sure if I leave it until I can get my pac, I might be able to get a better deal, but the 25% discount might go at the end of the month? Only guessing though.0 -

Be carefull with THREE is you wish to use Data Services abroad.
I ecently had a customer whom uses 3 mail and data, and was recently in Portugal and Spain, and could not access anything.
When he got back and told me of his problem, i emailed Three and got this answer.
Thanks for your email.
We appreciate your concern for the customer. Mr G had contacted the '3' Customer Services regarding this issue earlier. We had informed the customer that he could not access mails and Today on '3' whilst abroad. Mr G has the following add-ons on his account:
1- Add E-mail: Send & receive '3' emails. Subject to a fair use policy of 50MB per month.
2- Add Internet 10: 10MB of open plan internet surfing powered by Yahoo!
Search, so the customers can access mobile web sites and search the open
internet directly from their 3 mobile.
Only X-Series products can be used in countries, which have '3', network i.e.
Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Australia, Hong-Kong and Ireland. Today on '3' and mails (mail add-ons if any activated on the account) can be accessed only if the customer is in '3' Like Home countries. Mr G has no Add-Ons that he can use abroad. If we can confirm the type of mails, that Mr G wants to
send and receive while he is abroad, our Customer Services can suggest the
correct Add-On that is suitable for his purpose. Mr G can contact
Customer Services on 333 (free) from a '3' handset or 08707 330 333 (calls
charged at national rate) from any other number and they will be glad to assist him.
Please inform the customer that to use his handset as a modem he needs to go in for wireless web, he cannot use his handset as a modem if he has X-Series or mobile mail add-on. In '3' Like Home countries, data access works exactly the same way as it does in the UK and not all roaming networks in a country offer data roaming.
Information on all of our Add-Ons can be found at www.three.co.uk/my3.
If you have any further queries, please contact us on 08707 330 500, choosing
Option 6 (call charged at national rate).
Thanks for contacting 3.0 -
Well, I'm due an upgrade, Ive been with T-Mobile since the 121 days with three contracts. Im firstly a bit ticked off that they have widthdrawn the free evening and weekend calls, thats what i was after anway my details:
Flext 35 paying full whack. I currently haev a very good phone (8800) so don't need a handset so what I wanted was free evening and weekend + £10-12 off my line rental. I was offered the above with £10 off (should of taken it  ) initially but now everytime i speak to one of the guys they say take the evening/weekends + handset upgrade (8600 Luna for £160) or just £12 off line rental
Money off monthly is much better economically than getting a handset, selling it off.
Is there a way to get to retentions automatically without selecting the upgrade route? 150 2 1 2?Whatever You're Into, Get Into Shisha0 -
the only other way is 0845 4125000 option 1, enter number, option 3 option 0, so your way may be quicker and free.0

My brother today got a great offer IMO, better than my '3' contract.
He HAD 3000 off peak mins for £15, discounted rate!
NOW, they offered him the £35 p/m contract, 900 Xnet mins, no phone at a £20 discount, so he has to only pay £15 p/m for this! I think thats WICKED!!
Tried calling them to haggle a phone but they try say this cannot be done as the whole point of the discount was not to give a phone, but they said its always worth a try and I should call back tomorow, well actually today! (Monday!).
