    Hi Rolstherat

That's the contract I have too and I've been due to upgrade it for quite a long time now.

However, any time I've checked out upgrade offers (online albeit), the offers are rubbish and they keep telling me that I can't have that contract anymore and I'd have to move to EE. (Apparently EE doesn't offer unlimited everything, or so I was told).

It's just a con to get more money out of me somehow, whether it be an increased monthly amount, or an upfront cost for the phone. I don't particularly want to pay anything extra, but I'd like a more modern phone.

Would let me know how you get on if you do ring them?

    Thanks

    Hi there

I am still on the t-mobile Pay monthly 10 contract, and would like to stay on it as it is as cheap as chips, £5.93 a month for me for unlimited texts and data and 100 mins

Anyone else on it and renewed on it recently, what was the best free phone they offered you?

Just preparing myself for the renewal battle and keen to get recent experience from anyone else. I want to keep the contract and get the best free phone as possible.

    Cheers in advance
  • Hi All

So i am up for an upgrade on EE and always enjoy a good negotiation with the retention team, however i never know how far to take it...

I am currently on £39.99 a month and paid something like £16 up front for an iPhone 5 2 years ago. I am asking for a deal around £30 a month with 5gb of data and unlimited texts/calls. Obviously i want the new phone to be free or at the very least no more than £20.

After calling and getting through to retentions i have been offered the deal for £31.99 (OK by me) however the iPhone 5s they will do for no lower than £40 plus delivery. Of course i tried this with the iPhone 6 but it seemed fruitless (hard to drop an upfront cost of £300 down to free...)

Does the above sound like a good deal? i cannot tell when they are being serious about not being able to go lower. He said he had dropped the upfront cost of the 5s from £100 to £40.

    All help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.

    Hi Sal

I phoned up a while ago before my renewal date and they said that I could renew my contract but without the loyalty discount, which is £5 off my £11.22 bill, and I would need to pay for a new phone. SO basically I would lose my loyalty bonus for being loyal. But it is still cheaper than anything else.

I am entitled to an upgrade on the 23rd so I will see how I get on then

He they said I could re-sign on the same contract with the same loyalty discounts and upgrades. 100mins unlimited texts (Upgrade) and unlimited browsing (upgrade), need to check download, should 1gb for £6.24 a month. And I could get a phone free too, but I will find that out tomorrow. Won't be a good phone mind

    Hope that helps
