T-Mobile Retentions

Ooo - just noted the unlimited internet bit - that might make it a bit more interesting I guess (you need it to download the free music). Still ask them to give it to you with £20 a month.0

Can't get anything out of retentions at the moment. Best I have been offered on £35 tariff is £10 line rental discount. I managed to negotiate £16 discount on another line 18 months ago and that was a £30 tariff!
After 12 or so years with T-Mobile (PAYG + contract) I think it's time to leave.
I'm also not happy that customer services has been moved over to the Philipines....they are totally clueless when you ask them something simple!
Also I can't believe Orange are buying T-Mobile out! Any other network would have been fine! The Germans did a fine job of looking after the network but they obviously didn't get what they wanted.
O2 + Quidco is very tempting right now..0 -

Free N96, 700 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited mobile internet
30 per month for new customers0 -
I've been with T Mobile for years and I get the 25% discount off the Flext package.
I get £180 credit per month for £26. I am now out of contract and the best they can offer is the same deal again with a Nokia 6303 for free and £6.99 delivery.
I'm really not sure if that is good or not as it seems to be around the same as other deals that I have looked at but normally (in the past) I have always felt I had a better deal than what was around at that time.
Any opinions?0 -
No RDMD it was on an 18 month contract. I don't mind long contracts as I have the 50% off for life, so it would take something pretty spectacular to get me away from Tmobile anyway.

Hello
My first post :j
I will soon be comming out of contact... and was going to ask for what deals are available...
I like the above, having 50% off for life... is this something that is currently being offered? or is this something that T mobile only offers customers whom have been with them for a long time...?
I currently have Flext 35 and being charged £30 for this. Not good I know after reading the above...
Thanks in advance for any help and advise.0 -

Its not a buy out, its a merger. It means the new hybrid of orange and t-mobile, will be owned 50% by t-mobile.
Also, only your PAYG customer care moved to the Philipines. Contract is mainly served by UK CS.0 -

This is my quote lol...but just an update I have requested a Pac code in the hope they might offer me a better deal. They didn't!
I have been with them for years and not had any problems and always felt I was getting a good deal.
I feel a little panicked now lol... I'm not sure if I have cut my nose off to spite my face or if I don't don't like change:rotfl: Its just a phone deal
So now I have 2 weeks to find a good deal  so that i can feel virtuous (sp) that I did the right thing0 -

I'm quoting my post too
I also requested my PAC code in an attempt to push for a better deal but I didn't get any more that was already on offer which was VERY poor ad you can see from my previous post. After ordering my O2 SIM Only contract earlier this week, I called again in a last ditch attempt to see if they could offer anything better but I got the same. Even the retentions dept have become less friendly recently. Of the 3 or 4 advisors I have spoken too, each one of them didn't want to know! It was either take it or leave it and get off the phone!0
