Hi all,
Thought I'd tell you what deal I got today to give you some info, not to show off, I promise!!!
Was on Flext 35 + wnw with Friends and Relations 50% off making £20-49 per month. Now looking on here I was not holding out much hope of a decent phone considering the good discount I received and that I never over spent.
Today I called up and got Flext 35 2009 (the new one with unlimited internet, 08 numbers, voicemail etcout of allowance) and the G2 touch for £29-99 + £6-99 delivery. Not bad for £17-50 per month!!!
Hope that gives some of you some ammo!!!!!

24 month contract?0 -
No RDMD it was on an 18 month contract. I don't mind long contracts as I have the 50% off for life, so it would take something pretty spectacular to get me away from Tmobile anyway.
Just posted it to show that if I can get a good deal on the G2 with my discount, then people paying full price should be able to get a good deal.

Thanks for sharing that. Thought T-mobile did not give good retention deals.0 -
To be fair , I rang up more in hope than anything else!
My sister, who has same discounts, received the same deal today aswell. Infact she got free P&P, which she does not mind winding me up about! So not a one off.

My new offers from t-mobile have proved interesting. I phoned first day I was able to and was offered nothing of interest. I had spotted the G2, 12 month contract at £9.99 for the phone £34.26 monthly for 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 3gb internet, on the web with a company. T-mobile didn't come close to matching it.
Now over the past couple of days I have had their customer retention team phoning. finally managed to pick up before they rang off and got offer the self same contract with G2 for free over the 12 months. They have emailed me the details and I was reasonably happy until I have remembered that I could get £40 quidco if I buy online. They are phoning me back tomorrow. Think I'll ask for a £5 discount monthly.0 -
i was offered a phone and continue to pay 35 a month for flext or 30 a month with no phone, went with o2 30 a month new phone 600 min unlimited texts dell laptop 30 a month , 2 year contract but that dont bother me as ill just buy a new cheap phone if this goes funny before the 24 months0

I've been with T mobile for a lot of years now and my latest contract ends on 23rd November. A guy from T mobile called me today to offer me an early upgrade.
I haven't really been looking around yet too much but very much like my daughter's Nokia 5800 as I love the touch features and its quite a good phone to use for internet browsing so I mentioned that would be a possible.
He offered me 300 minutes 300 texts and unlimited internet for £24 a month on an 18 month contract and will ring back on Monday to give me time to look around at phones etc. (These minutes and texts are the approx right number for me looking at recent usage)
So the question is - is this a good deal for that phone/mins/texts/internet and secondly is there a better touch phone or deal with a touch phone? With getting it early in a way it makes it a 16 month contract too.
Can you recommend another handset that would come in at a similar price?
Many thanks0 -
Nothing special about the offer - seen better deals with cashback and 8 gig free memory card.
One deal without cashback I have seen is for 18 months with 3 giving 200 minutes and unlimited texts.
I would batter the cost down to £20 as a minimum if you really want that phone. Personally if I were looking now I would opt for Sony W995 (even if that is not comes with music phone).0
