hi
iv bin with tmobile for the last 3 years on flext 35. i initially had a discounted rate to about £24. When my 18 months was over I got another discount as I didnt take out a phone to £17 a month. Last month this just ran out and I was charged at £26. i have tried to negotiate with them, but they are refusing to lower the rate even i do not take out a fone. they are pointing me to their deal of 800 mins and unlimited texts with a fone for £25. this is the same as their website for all nexw customers.
they will not budge and when i sed i wanted to cancel, they just sed ok and started the proceedings. i had to stop them and sed give me time to think. I have spoken to 2 different people in the loyalty dept who have both sed the same thing. They say they cant offer any more discounts now.
Im a bit stuck as I dnt know wot to do now. £25 a month is too much for me. Any advice as to how I can negotiate some more off?
thanks
ali
hey mate i had the same problem they wouldnt change thier stance ended up taking out a brand new contract through mobile phones direct but only down side was i had to change my number. if you dont want a new phone why dont you try the tmobile solo deals? the 20 quid a month deal gives you unlimited tx and internet along with 600 mins0 -
I'm at the end of a tmobile contract, are you able to cancel and then start up a new contract as a `new customer` without any problem ?........ don't mind changing my number.0

You can transfer your old number to a pay as you go on another network, and then transfer it back to your new t-mobile contract at any point. A little long winded but possible and free.0 -
Does anyone know if it's correct that T-Mobile are asking for £22 for a PAC? The contract is in its final 30 days.
Thank you.0 -
No, my contract was ending on the 27th of july (next week). I told them I had seen other more attractive packages form other providers, and could they match or better them? They couldn't, so I asked for my PAC and they immediately gave it to me and closed my account and now I'm just waiting for it to transfer to my new provider. No fees of any kind.0

I'd phone and ask but my gut feeling is no. They've always said that 50% overides any money off promotion.0 -

I rang to find out when my contract would end, only to find out that its been out of contract since May.
I was paying £4.99pm for a £13.99 (+vat) contract - 750 off peak mins to t-mobile & landlines and 50 texts pm. In the past 2/3 months, I have spent about £20-25pm as I've needed my phone a lot.
When I asked about deals, they basically gave me the bums rush and suggested I go to a 'solo' deal, no new phone, no discount for 5+ years loyalty.
The best solo is the £15.00 Solo 15 on a 12 month sim only contract, giving 500 minutes and unlimited texts
I really don't want to pay more than about £15 pm for a contract & ideally wanted a new phone. Anyone seen a better deal around?"This is a forum - not a support group. We do not "owe" anyone unconditional acceptance of their opinions."0
