honestly thats the same deal they will give to a new customer so you are not getting any loyalty discount
look here for the same deal with 6600 slide, c902 and nokia 5800 XM

Thanks salawat I am going to ring them now and ask kwhy I am only getting the same deal as new customers because as you pointed out I should actually be getting a loyalty discount.
I don't like the Nokia 6600 either it actually looks cheap when you see it in real life.
I have the Nokia 6300 which I like the look of but its been out about 2 years now so I think I need something different just not sure which to go for.
Thanks again0 -

I have just contact them and they said they can't alter the price as it is an internet deal so is the best price they can do.
When I pointed out that means I get nothing more than a new customer he just said you need to know exactly what handset you want and we can see if we can be flexible with that but there is nothing else he can offer.0 -
tell them that my friend just got the LG Renoir for the same price plan and same price,
the best thing for you to do, is call and ask for your pac code, they will transfer you to the inbound retentions, ask for your pac code and they will ask why you want to leave, explain to them that your receiving the same deal as a new customer will get, also if you have seen a good deal with another network, tell them of the deal and they may be able to give you the same deal or even beat it.
If you are willing to take a slight risk, receive the PAC code and then their outbound retentions will call and may offer you a good deal.
for now call and ask for your pac code, and that should help0 -
My contract is coming to an end, my current deal is;
Free Off Peak/Weekend Calls to any network
£120 Call Credit
£22.50 (inc VAT) (12month contract)
Is my current deal worth sticking would, the minimum i would
want is line rental reduction? would i be eligible for this?0 -
I just renewed my contract with t-mobile, I was on flext 35 with web n walk, so my bills were coming in at £40-£50 per month.
I never got anywhere near the allowance and only took out that contract because it was a 12 month contract and I got a free laptop with it, which worked out well for me at that time.
This time around I didn't have any specific requirements when looking for a contract, so I wanted to see what offers were available with t mobile.
All I normally do is cancel my contract and then take out a new contract as a new customer, get the phone I like, or get the free gift I want.
With Tmobile, I had the choice of a few decent looking phones, plus £100 gift card for renewing. This information was only available online however.
I even went into a tmobile shop and they knew nothing about the free £100 gift cards, and would have charged me for the phone I wanted and would have charged me even more if I wanted to reduce my tariff.
I rang up because I wanted to lower the tariff I was on, but still get the better phones and the £100 gift card.
I just explained this to the customer services person and I ended up getting the combi 20 tariff, with web n walk.
As I was not getting anywhere near my useage allowance with the flext, the combi tariff is more suitable for me and will cost me less.
The only downside was that I went from a 12 month contract, to an 18 month contract, but the options for the 12 month contracts were quite poor.
All in all, I ended up with a Samsung Tocco, 18 month contract at £25 per month, 200 mins & 200 texts is enough for me, plus the £100 gift card, which I should be getting in the next few weeks.
I found the customer services person I spoke to really helpful and they sorted everything out for me with just the one 10 minute phone call.
Just had a quick look and if I had of gone for the same deal as a new customer it would have cost me £58.72 for the same phone and I would not have got the £100 gift card.0 -
Hi I have been a customer of Tmobiles for 3 years now on Flext 35 with half price discount through the advantage plan option.
I have just rang up the upgrades department and have been offered a few of the following (on the terms I keep my half price discount):
T-mobile G1 white - £100
Nokia 6600 slide - £28.30 with £100 gift card
Nokia 6500 slide - Free
T-mobile G1 black - £145.74
I am a bit dissapointed with these offers to be honest. I know its greedy because I already have the half price discount but I would of liked the G1 white for £50. I did ring retentions and they wouldnt budge! The customer advisor did state that the offers may get better as I come to the end of my contract so call back in 2 weeks time. I dont know if this was a ploy to get me to change my mind or if it is true, anyone that has had experience of the waiting game please let me know?
Thanks in advance!0 -
its not a ploy. Good luck phoning back in a couple of weeks.0
