call your own number from your handset dials your voice mail

and comes out of your inclusive minutes as its a 07 number dialed.

I just tried that and I get a busy signal

edit: didn't have my voice mail set to redirect on busy - all sorted now, thanks :)
  • I'm into my last month and have been trying to decide whether I want to take the G1 for £35 - even though I want to keep it on my £15 p/m Flext 20 + £5 WnW (100m/200t)

Thing is, I prefer the look of the HTC Touch HD for £150 on O2 for £14.68 p/m(100m/ULTD t). It's from mobiles.co.uk.

I've tried ringing but no answer on the sales line (yes, it's open) and an endless queue on the CS line.

Can't find any better deal on the HTC - may be happy with the LG renoir, Nokia 5800, too - but wondered what people's opinions are...

    Thanks,

    NR.
  • Hello all

I have just called Tmobile to end my contract and have been told a discount they offered me in August had an 18month tie in!

I have been with them since 2006, when my first 18 month contract was up they offered me 6 months line rental discount rollling month contract, now they say when i called in August to do this again that I agreed to 18month contract.

They say they sent me a contract, i havent recieved it ( I have a file with all my bills etc since 2006)

I have fired off an email to customer relations, where do I stand legally on this? anyone???

Have been T-Mobile customer for many years, my current Flext 35, 18 month contract comes to an end on 30/04/09. I have always managed to get line discount, currently £9 so £26 month & new phone at renewal. These days I have about 75% left each month of my call/text allowance so they have been doing OK out of me. I could do with something a bit cheaper but also quite fancy new Nokia 6303 or 7200 which are due out in a few months. These follow on from 8310, 6230, 6230i & current 6300, so sticking with same series. Can I negotiate new contract & get the phone later?

I have been with T-Mobile contract for 17 months and during that time have paid off some whopping bills. I am on the Flext - 35 plan but generally my bills dont drop below at minimum £50 a month and have hit £120 several times.
I always pay on time, except once !! during Dec I was contracting for the NHS and as a contractor my days off are unpaid and xmas is a whole pile of days off.
I emailed T-mobile to say hi guys my record of bill paying so far is awesome , I am skint during Dec but by Jan I'll be minted again can you let me carry over till Jan.
An Indian guy mailed me back splurting standard T-mobile policy and said you must pay your bill on time which I couldnt - not much help there then.
and so the bill didnt get paid , a week or so later T-mobile were kicking off, I emailed again to be told again I must pay up.
about another week passed and I get a letter from some company Ive never heard of demanding funds with menace threatening my credit rating and baliffs and allsorts.
I couldnt believe that T-mobile had worked so fast on garnishing their funds back in ,with menace, and from a damn fine customer too.
It was Jan by this time and I was back in the money and paid them off completely, I emailed them to say I no longer had any intention of taking out a further contract and to cancel it from my final month which is this one.
Until then I was considering the google phone to sit along with my N-95 but now I am canning them completely, they have been hassling me for retention just lately haha yeah right guys, no chance.
I appreciate assistance when times get rough not brute force I will be unlocking my N-95 and bunging in another companies PAYG Sim.
I have stuck with T-mobile since my Nokia 3210 one-2-one days but I wont have another again.
AVOID these guys are not going to help you through the credit crunch steer well clear.

    Hi fellow T-Mobilers,

I'm entering the final month of my contract with T-Mobile (my wife is on the same account) - any ideas as to when is the best time between now & then to start bartering with them regarding my contract?

    Cheers...

Lindopski, to be honest any company does the same. Its not nice getting threats of legal action etc but that is more a UK thing than a T-Mobile thing.

One of my lines was due on the 1st, called today, on a U-fix 15 with Employee call, they've offerred £170 discount, so can get the Pixon for £25, very happy, just got to wait for stock or wait for the upgrade price to go down in store, might get somethine else, but getting a G1 soon anyway.

Pleased with the deal I got yesterday....I was in the last month of a 12 month plan, paying £25pm - think it's flext? Anyway, I don't use my mobile much so my bills are not usually much more than that, rang t mobile and was advised that I was best to go onto the £15pm plan but if I wanted the phone I had my eye on (SE c905), I would have to pay £200 for the handset
Obviously didn't want to do this so resigned myself to getting a cheaper handset, decided on the LG Secret but was told this was out of stock and to try my local T-mobile store....did that and they had none either, and the guy in store didn't seem particularly interested in helping me at all, so I left that and went to browse in phones4u. Spotted the fab pink SE c905 and 15 mins later had that, my same number, still with t-mobile for £15pm for 18 months and paid just £25 for the handset :T oooh and it coms with free perfume!! So all in all very happy, but totally unimpressed with T-mobile's service!!
  • Good result helping my partner renew her contract last night

    Nokia 5800
£170 per month for calls and text (flext)
    Free voice mail
    Unlimted web and walk

    £25 per month

The first rentention guy she spoke to tried to fob her off by telling her the Nokia 5800 was discontinued and the only offer she could have was the G1 or Samsung Tocca for £31 per month!

My partner rang back 5 minutes later and asked for her PAC number and a helpful lady gave her the above offer

    Job done:beer:
