T-Mobile Retentions

I am gutted. Have had 4 missed calls from 0845 412 2700 to which i discovered was a T-Mobile number. I phoned them up today and it was about my renewal.

I currently am on Flext 35 with 25% flext discount for life. I am interested in the C905 so I told the woman on the phone this. She told me I could get it at the discounted price of £31.50 a month (?!?!) and the phone is free.

I cannot believe they're trying to fob me off onto a new customer price plan and get rid of my 25% for life discount, I asked if the plan would be discounted and she said I'd have to pay for the phone if I wanted to keep my discount. On the same price plan someone can get the phone for free yet I have to pay because they offered me a discount for life?! Absolutelt ridiculous.

My friend phoned up O2 today and got 600 mins, unlim texts and unlim internet with a free C905 for £23 pcm. She asked about it then ignored it.

I phoned Tmob today too. I have been with them for about 4-5 years with 2 flext 35 contracts. I also asked for the C905 and they came up with the £31.50 offer but they said if I had the C902 I could get the MEGA deal as advertised on their website for £25 each. I said that is the same as Joe Public can get it she was polite but said they couldn't discount it any more. I gave my 30 day notification on both contracts. Do you think they will alter their stance?

call your own number from your handset dials your voice mail

and comes out of your inclusive minutes as its a 07 number dialed.

I have been speaking to someone from the directors office and they have offered me the 8800 carbon arte for £297. im on the flext 35, paying £35 per month and i have been for over 3 years. Cant believe people have been getting huge discounts (25%) when i pay the full amount. thats over £2500 i have spent in total with them.
This gets more and more frustrating.

The Carbon Arte is a very expensive handset, Worth over £700 RRP, Thats probably the best you'l get anywhere.

Nah I don't think so. After my call I phoned right through to retentions about an hour later. I was on the phone for 30+ mins talking to the retentions department, still wouldn't budge on £31.50 for it. I could keep my 25% if I wanted to but I would not get the internet, which would bring it upto £31.25 anyway if I added it, plus I'd have to pay £95 for the phone...

Just finished dealing with the 'loyalty' department for my upgrade, not overly impressed with the service but managed a good outcome.

The first chap offered me the following on tuesday:
stay on current plan (18.75) and get the samsung tocco or nokia 5800 for a mere £29.99 OR
go onto flext 35, with a £10 discount making it £25 plus free mobile internet and a free tocoo. Bargain.
Had a little hunt around yesterday before ringing back and saying well how about the second deal with a free 5800. (from deal 1 it seems as tho they are of the same value)
Hmm they said we can only do it with the tocco but yes it did include the internet and could a manager call me back. No manager rang so I rang at lunchtime, and they said there was no way i cld have the web and the discount and the 5800, the person who told me that deal existed (both of them) were naughty liars.
So i asked them to put me onto a manager told the man i thought not him personally but the rest were idiots and i was going to decamp to orange. Needless to say 10mins later the same chap had been authorised by the manager to give me the 5800, 35 for £25 and the internet. :money:
