As for the contracts questions - No friends and family discount on the laptop offer. As for the G1 offer, its half price off the full price line rental - if any discount offers, they are not given on the account. Plus your friend would have to give you another allowance, and as said, we only get a few each year.~*Cerenia*~

As there are a few ppl who work for tmobile here , i thought this would be a good place to ask. I am on friends and family 50% discount. I want to start a 2nd contract, G1 on flext30 tariff and also take up their laptop 24month mobile broadband for 25 a month offer. Do anyone know if i will be able to get it under the same account and get 50% off both plans? I been meaning to go in store to ask but had an accident and cant leave house. You think i can purchase it over the phone with customer services?

Correct me if i'm wrong anyone else working for T-mobile on here, but we can only take out a mobile broadband line out under our own name for the discount (unless it has changed). Where as if you have a friend who can give you the discount for another line, then the G1 should be ok for a new line with the discount. But you'd be paying more than £15 per month as the Web n Walk is included in the plan as a promotion and this would be lost when you applied for friends n family, so it would be flext 30 + web n walk plus then the discount. something like £21.25 a month????0 -
how the f&r works is its per line not account...... you give the tmob employee ur mob number and email addy.... then they fill in a form and providing that you are on a f&r approved tarriff (above £30 pm and no frills) billing send you out a form via email. you send it off, few days later u get a yay or a nay.....

IF t-mobile are not offering people upgrades why don't you just leave?
Go over to Vodafone or O2 or Orange, they are the big players and may offer you some decent deals.0 -
T-mobile are offering upgrades again, it's just hard to get through to them the now as everyone is calling to upgrade, leading to 30min + call Q's. I would advise anyone who wants to upgrade to try upgrade online first by logging into my t-mobile. Would save alot of holding time to speak to someone.

the only problem with trying online is that all the people who accepted the christams bonus when you try online upgrades it says you are not due to upgrade so you have no choice but to phone them.
and when i finally got through i almost felt abused at the "deals" they where offering......:rotfl:0 -

It depends, some of the accounts have been updated and they still have the discount but still showing they can upgrade. Quite alot of the accounts I seen today were like that. Even if you call them, they can sort it out so you can upgrade online without waiting in the call Q. its just sad for the people told they would get a good deal in Jan then fell 'abused'at the offers

dont get me wrong,abuse is fine sometimes.....:rotfl: ,i would have been happy with what i got last time,£10 off line rental,wasnt even fussed about a new phone to be honest but got offered nothing so moving network now.
it is a shame because i have had fairly good service from t mobile up until this fiasco,i do feel this type of exercise will cause them no end of harm in the long run.0
