How did u manage that? What tariff was u on before?
I was on an 18 months tariff with 600 mins/ U/L text and 1 GB data for £31.77 gross £14 ish net, including an N8, via a cashback site.
I had just got my PAC code and was going to get a deal with O2 via E2Save which they have at the moment for 600 mins / U/L text and 0.5 GB data for £4 after cash back. I am quite happy with my N8 and have a 5800 from my previous contract, which still works fine, as a back up.
Although cash back via E2Save is so easy and straightforward I thought I would stay with TM to avoid any bother. Also I have found the reception to be fairly good.
I will probably only use 500mins / 50 text / negligible data though each month as I tend to use VOIP, Skype and the landline to communicate.0 -
manipulated wrote: »Hi guys,
Just thought Id post since ive been looking at upgrading with t-mobile today
Basically this is what im on at moment
£21 monthly (18 month) - 300 mins - 300 texts - free bosoter (which I use to get unlimited txts) and Unlimited Internet (no limit)
I was looking to upgrade to the HTC One which would cost me £239.99 and stay on same plan.
So I went to t-mobile and noticed I could chat....here is a full transcript of our chat
Working out the costs I worked out £514 and £504...
Anyways I followed up by calling t-mobile and asking for best deal...best deal I got offered was this
£23.50 - 1000 mins - unlimited text - unlimited data - 24 months
Then I spoke to a guy on chat again, he offered me the same deal as the woman originally but for £26 and then when I said I got offered for £24 he wouldnt budge at all.
So i emailed the original female back and shes replied back saying she would sort it out....fingers crossed!
Hope this information helps!
Any further updated on this? Did T-Mobile honor the original quote? I'm thinking of getting the same phone and have been told that they wont be getting it till the second week of April.0 -
Hey all,
I was just wondering, my upgrade is due soon, but where can I find the online chat?
Thanks in advance!0 -
To get the online online chat , login to the customer site, go to the upgrade part of the website and wait. If there is anyone on duty it'll popup. Both times I did it I had a good result.0

T-mobile are offering the Huawei Ascend P1 LTE 4g handset on £10 a month contract, obviously not on a 4g plan. Its quite a powerful phone for the tariff price. Has anyone considered this one?0

Just phoned but didn't get offered much at all, I want the Samsung Galaxy S4 and they couldn't match Orange or T-Mobile (!) offers on mobilephonesdirect. Mad. Got my PAC and will probably go to Orange.0

OK an update, I decided to have another look through the t-mobile website and the chat window came up so gave it another try and pointed to a much better deal on mobilephonesdirect. A helpful lady has beat the offers and I'm pleased with what I've got - Samsung Galaxy S4, £99.99 upfront, £26/month Full Monty plan - 1000 min, ultd text, ultd internet.0

Just had a live chat re an upgrade. Currently pay 15 £ for 300 min 500 tmob min 5000 text and 750mb this includes 40% friends and family discount.
As I do more min and more data I was offered the full monty 26 500 min unlimited text and Internet for £13 with a free Samsung s3 mini, I think I got a great deal as this gives me 50% discount better than the 40% rate.0 -
T-Mobile have sent thousands of letters to customers today informing them of new line rental increases to there line rental.
increase charges start from the 9th May 2013. Other threads have reported between 84p - £1.20 a month. New contracts will have the increases in November 2013. The letter informs customers they can cancel there contract BUT "you'll need to pay any cancellation charges that may apply"
T-Mobile new saying of "Life's for sharing" really makes you wonder!!!
Thanks T-MobileTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
Has anyone had the 'chat' offer go through?
I just tried to use the service re an upgrade and was given the following warning before it started:
"You are about to be connected to a new connection sales advisor for T-Mobile UK. Please note they do not have access to existing customer details and cannot process upgrades or queries related to an existing T-Mobile account. If you have a query of this nature please contact customer services on 0845 412 5000 or 150 from a T-Mobile handset.."0
