poundI am currently on a 24 months "Pay monthly 10" plan, which will expire in May. 10 per month, the plan gives me 100 minutes / 100 texts and, crucially, unlimited internet including tethering. My bills usually run to £15-25 per month, as I make a few international calls and occasionally use the "Euro Internet boosters".
When I signed up, I used Martin's advice to call, and got a free motorola defy handset, which I'd be happy to keep. However, judging from your latest comments, it's unlikely that they'll even let me continue with my current plan, sim-only? For now, at least there seems to be no sign of 4G coming to my area, so perhaps t-mobile will show some mercy...
I am on the identical plan but different phone and I can give my notice in early March so keep an eye out for my post back on what I get offered.
All I world say is because our plan is a standard plan and doesn't have a discount as such then at the end of the 24 months, if you don't do anything then AFAICS it will just continue as normal at the same price.
It's only if say you have a 30 pound plan and had a 24 month discount of 10 pounds that brought it down to 20 pounds, would the price go up after 24 months.
Hope that makes sense / is relevant, typing from phone and not easy.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Deal I was offered:
12 month contract sim-only
£10/month
Unlimited Everything. (mins, texts, data)
What happened:
I decided that Virgin Mobile £12/month sim-only was pretty good.
I rang up T-mobile and asked for my PAC. I told them what I was switching to and they couldn't match it at all, so I just asked for my PAC.
Soon after I got called back by some "special" retentions department and got offered the above deal.
Includes voicemail. Picture messages are not included. 3G only (not 4G).
I read somewhere that data is being limited to 4 or 5Mbps, but I don't think that will really affect me. Other than that, I will report back if there are any catches that I come across.

My contract is not up for renewal until August 2013, customer service was going to transfer my call to sales and for me to set up a new line. I was put on hold, and transfered to upgrades. I just entered a 12 month contract with the full monty at £16.00 a month (only £4 odd increase - bargin I think).
The offer is only available until midnite toniteTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Called T-mobile since my contract was in the last 30 days - said I wanted my PAC and the usual questions followed where I told them I wanted an Xperia Z or HTC One. Was told they don't do the XZ but offered the HTC One for £240 on a £20 a month contract. Refused and got my PAC.
Was later called back by their "Executive Team"(?) who said they really wanted to keep my but came back with more or less the same offers....
Looks like I may finally leave T-Mobile after all.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Hi
My contract ends in 3 days and I'm thinking about calling T-Mobile to see what they can offer me to keep me with them. Judging by the last two posts, seems they arent that bothered anymore.
I have been on a 18 month contract paying £25 a month with unlimited texts, 500MB data and 300 mins. I've also been using the unlimited T-mobile booster for free calls to other T-Mobile customers at an additional £5 cost taking my total monthly bill to £31.
I'm interested in getting the HTC One, HTC One X (since they dont do HTC One X +) or the Samsung Galaxy S3.
I have seen the One X and S3 offered with unlimited minutes any network at around £23 a month with cashback (with Orange and O2 - around £27 before cashback, 24 month contract)
What are the chances of getting the HTC One with my current plan for around £25. Failing that, the later two phones on an 18 month contract with unlimited T-mobile minutes for £20 a month? Or am I asking for too much here? Also if I quote offers with cashback, will they take it into account? The other thing is that Orange is also part of EE so just wondering if they will make an effort to keep me if I did threaten to go to Orange since they are part of the same group.
Any advice, tips or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.0 -

No one can really tell you what to expect or what they will offer, but it does seem that decent retention deals are becoming fewer and fewer.
Arm yourself with a list of the best deals that you have seen online and ask them to match / beat them.
If they say no, request your PAC, and hope they call you with a deal that will convince you to stay. If they don't vote with your feet and go elsewhere.....0 -
My contract expired in October and I have been waiting for a good deal. Phoned them up about an EE 4G deal on the HTC one on a 12 month 46 per month 5GB deal (someone posted it on this forum if the iphone) and they would not budge on the £109 phone cost. Said I wanted my PAC and then I received a call saying they can do the same deal but the phone for free...Winner me thinks...0

If it goes the same way my call did, they will let you have the One on £25 a month but would want about £150 / £200 for the phone up front.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Just called them and spoke to someone called Claire. Asked what offers I had found and said they couldn't match it so got my PAC code and will be leaving them very soon or just switching to a SIM only.
She didn't even attempt to offer me alternative deals or offers. Guess they don't mind loosing customers.0
