I spent 1 hour 50 minutes on the phone to T-Mobile last night, being thrown about from department to department. All I wanted to know was where my upgrade phone was. It'll soon be 2 weeks since ordering it.
None of them have any idea what's been 'done' with my order. They all blame different departments.
I finally ended the conversation saying I would like a supervisor to call me back at 9am Friday.
Did they call? Of course not.
If I have to hear Adele or One Direction 1 more time I will go insane.0 -
My SIM-only contract for 100 mins/100 texts/unlimited (1GB) internet booster/unlimited landlines booster for £5.47 a month came to an end yesterday. I think the only things I pay for over and above what is incuded is the odd picture message and voicemail (although I have just switch to hullomail so that charge will stop soon). I had called up a few weeks ago to see what they could offer as I fancied a Galaxy S2 phone, the deals they offered were rubbish and it made sense to source the phone 2nd hand and get another SIM-only deal. When I rung up yesterday they couldn’t offer me a decent deal on anything with more minutes/texts/internet and seeing as my current deal is fine for my current needs I just renewed it on my existing terms. I had hoped to get a bit more added on but it didn’t work. I have a feeling that in 2 years time I will not be able to renew the same deal as they say they only allow you to renew a deal a certain number of times.
I did have a few signal issues over the summer, I think this was down to the roaming to orange signal as I think the phone tried to hangon to a poor t-mobile 3G signal rather than switch to a stronger orange 2G signal, they are resolved now I no longer need to roam and I can just use EE.0 -
Hi,
I have just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S3, white, 16GB, 4G Version for £18 a month, £39 upfront charge. Tariff includes 600 mins, unlimited texts (flexible booster), 1.5GB internet.
Did I get a good deal!?! I think I did on the monthly cost but got stung on the handset cost.
They asked me if I wanted the 3G or 4G S3, I chose the S3 because I guessed it was more future proof, was this the best decision?
Just to clarify I was on the Advantage Plan so I get 50% discount on line rental.
Thanks0 -

Seems pretty nice to me.
Thats £466 over two years with service when the phone itself would normally cost £4990 -
something strange going on, I've got 2 sims only deals, about to expire (Dec.05.2012) recently I was offered the chance to renew on line with a discount of 20%
however the strange thing now is the option to upgrade/renew now goes straight through to a phone choice page ???
I only want to renew my sim only deal ???
I'm in the same boat the 20% off line rental has gone and all I get are mobiles to choose from. I didn't realise my contract was ending only noticed as the DD has gone up. Not very happy, would of thought t-mobile would of notified me as I was told 2 moths ago when I choose not to upgrade early that it would just switch to a 30 day rolling contract0 -

Still early days mate... just make sure if/when they ring, that you answer. They don't tend to ring back a second time...
