Couldn't get the LTE S3. He said they were offering it earlier in the month when their computer systems were still new. But Samsung stopped them offering it on retentions deals because they were losing too much money.
Absolute poppyc0ck - More likely everyone is ringing up asking for the LTE version and they have a shed load of the old S3 they need to shift....ring back and speak to someone different.
Some tips that may help you guys:
1. Ignore the upgrade deals online in "My Account" section, the deals will be crap.
2. Ignore any online chat option with the upgrades team, the deals will also be crap.
3. The only way you will get a decent deal is to ring up, choose the option to leave, tell them you have had a better offer elsewhere and want to leave and see what they offer.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

My mother has been a t-mobile customer for over 10 years. Currently has bills of 70 quid p/m on her iPhone 4. Signed contract 2 years ago and has now expired.
The guy offered her £26p/m for sim only 30 day full monty deal: 2000 mins and unltd txt/data which matches her usage.
Is there any way to haggle down on a 30 day sim only deal? If not is there a way to haggle down on say, a 12 month and by how much?
ALSO is there any way to haggle down two contracts at the same time? We both have our phones with T-Mobile listed under the same account holder (her). This is a hangover from when I was a teenager and she paid my bill. I am also out of contract and considering my options; do I have better negotiating power with two contracts? I can say, for example, that we want the same network either for calling each other and also for account management (online billing etc). I am also looking for rolling sim only.0 -
Just rang up now and they said it will still be at least another 7 days for the handset to arrive, so I've cancelled the upgrade and just cancelled the remainder of my contract that was left.
Sim only and Nexus 4 time I think!0 -

Another lesson for everyone reading this thread....
Do your research, know what is a good deal and know what you will settle for..... if they make you a good offer, accept it there and then - you can always change you mind later, but saying you'll think about it and calling them back or they call you back, there's a good chance you'll be too late.
@Jigga21, if you don't use your PAC within 30 days then it expires, if you want to stay with T-Mob then let it expire, ring back and ask for it again and see what they offer you.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

something strange going on, I've got 2 sims only deals, about to expire (Dec.05.2012) recently I was offered the chance to renew on line with a discount of 20%
however the strange thing now is the option to upgrade/renew now goes straight through to a phone choice page ???
I only want to renew my sim only deal ???0 -
I also have a sim only deal (300min, 300 text, internet) which I have just come to the end of the contract. When I checked online last week I had the option of either renewing the contract (this also included a £6 discount), changing the tariff, or picking a phone. All with a 12 month contract. When I had a look the other day there is only the selecting new phone option now. I have phoned them on a couple of occasions and they tried to sell me some other tariff which I wasnt interested in.0
