Thanks for the reply. you think £41 a month is good? Also, any ideas on the Note 2?
I haven't seen anything better on an 18 month contract, you can get it cheaper on a 24 month contract though.

I'm eligible to 'upgrade' now on my £25pm contract and the phone deals on the website are exactly the same as new customers on the website. :D

Can't be bothered ringing to ask what they can offer me, going to wait for EE's tariff announcement (hopefully tomorrow) and wait for Google & Windows events later in the week about new Nexus and Nokia 920 prices and availability.

I just renewed one of my lines which was sim only 300 mins, 300 text and unltd Internet for £4.58 a month.
This was through loyalty and they put me through to websale who discounted a bit more

I'm on the same data/call/text plan and, having waited 1 hour spoke to a upgrade person who 'managed' to get mine down to a 12 month sim only contract at £7 p/month.

Were you taken down this road? I wasn't happy so asked to be put through to cancellations which i'm now on hold for (no doubt for another hour).

    Edit:
I spoke with Cancellations who couldn't improve the £7 offer so I asked for my contract to be cancelled as of 23/11/12.

Hopefully somebody will call me from retentions else i've got another long wait through the worst music ever to try again.

Just got offered an S3 for £99 on my current plan with a discount on the monthly cost making it £20 inc VAT.

Via the online agent chat, no need to wait 30 minutes on hold twice like I did yesterday! Sorted, so glad I get to keep my unlimited internet as well!

All I'm being offered is the same deals as online + £4-5 discount.
I've already got my PAC code. It seems like T-Mobile are getting tight with their deals with the upcoming release of 4G.
    Too bad for them...

Turns out the S3 is "out of stock", so I'm going to have to wait up to 7 days for it to arrive.

I did mine through the online chat thing bobtastic, I asked how come the upgrade 'deals' were exactly the same for me as they were for new customers and the person asked what I was after and I said either a S3 or Note 2, they then asked how much I wanted to spend a month and then I was offered that deal.

20% discount on your line rental is just a standard thing I think, you should be able to get a discounted phone I would have thought.

Either stay on one of the chat pages for a while until it pops up or click here - https://server.lon.liveperson.net/hc/32020749/?&cmd=file&file=visitorWantsToChat&site=32020749&channel=web&d=1351155852588&LEAppKey=CHANGE_HERE&referrer=%28engage%29%20http%3A//www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/pay-monthly/mobile-phones/&t=1

You'll have to log in if you want to chat to some one from upgrades though.

    just upgraded to note 2
£46 pound tariff ,not cheap but i do get 1/2 price line rental for life so its only £23 for 18 month and the phone was £69 ,so its still cheap than paying full price for the line,
the only thing i lose is mms which i will have to pay for now ,
every thing else is better ,1200 minutes, unlimited text,750 MB internet for streaming ,
which is better than 500mb that i had ,and never had to pay for going other ,
the new one is the same ,they will not bill you for going over your limit on the net ,so why not say unlimited
i know its its just a normal deal and the 1/2 price line rental for life is the only thing that makes it good
there or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff

    Hi
Almost renewal time, broken phone for a few weeks so decided to bite the bullet and go for early upgrade, as only 2 months remaining of existing contract at 7.50 per month.
First call to retentions offered a Samsung s3 @ c36 per month, so time to look elsewhere.
Online checks found best at Cpw or phones4u with orange at 26 per month.

Called the do you want to leave number, and was offered two handsets had been looking at:
    300 mins
    Unltd texts
    250 mb
    Samsung s3 @59, or Sony Xperia 10@ 49
    26 per month
Went to Cpw to see if they could better, said no, so called back.
    So glad I did!

Choice of either handsets for 19
    600 mins
    Unlit texts
    750 mb
    20 per month
Also for 18 months not 24!!!!
I did cheekily ask if he could reduce the costs, and the kind guy on the phone reduced from 24 per month, and 39 to above - so me happy!

Also considered buying handset (cheapest I found was 450), and keeping 7.50 tariff but worked out more expensive.

However.... He did mention that some tariffs may change at the end of the month, with the EE change, so am keeping my fingers crossed. He said as I have this tariff, it will stick. I hope so ...
