Can anyone remind me if TMobile charge rental in advance or arrears ? I thought it was in advance - just had my final bill which if rental is in advance doesn't stack up. Thinking it might be the pac charge. But can't get into my account as I've left. So in advance or arrears ?

Getting closer but still no resolution. On hold.

    Contract end date 13/09/12.
    Pac requested 15/08/12
Early termination Fee £14.33 (+ VAT ?? ) triggered by pac request
Final Bill includes bits + ' Notice Period Charge' £ 2 odd which I assume is period pac used 12/09/12 - 13/09/12 ie contract completed/paid for.

Indian call centre initially adament term fee still applies since contract ended early - am currently on hold while they confer with retentions.

Edit : does anyone have a number for a UK call centre ? Was transferred from India to wrong dept in UK who have transferred me to a number not being answered.
  • should not be charged anything extra as long as you paid your final month.

I know but getting them to take ownership of that is hard work. Was cut off on call. Going to have a break and try again.

They are charging a pac code fee (per previous posts) but tried dressing it up as a) early term fee then b) line rental.

What they said is the pac triggers the rental charge for the balance of the contract, but they've confirm I pay rental in advance so though there would be a few 'bits' at contract end, that's all. But I've got this mysterious charge plus the bits.

Possibly ?? sorted. They've removed the charge (so they say) and will amend the d/d going out 01/10/12. Supposedly will send a text confirming this. Won't actually believe it till I see the correct d/d taken. Absolute bunch of shyster's.

Latest call told me my contract start was 17/09 hence term fee. I've previously been told 13/09 by Tmobile. I've actually dug out my paperwork and contract started 13/09 (billed from) but they paced my number across on 17/09. Unbelievable company.

No, couldn't get a UK number. Went with 0800 0322111 from saynoto0870 and jumped through two thousand hoops to get to Indian CS (seems the default) though this lady was a) easier to understand and b) understood the problem, though they were correct of course but teamleader/goodwill spiel.
  • Hi

I got told from T Mobile that I can upgrade from 11th Sept so I went into the shop and the deals being offered were poor considering Iv been with them since 1998.

I asked if they do not value loyal customers and the advisor said "you choose to stay woth T Mobile just like you choose which supermarket to shop at". They advised I ring retentions.

I did but still not happy and also the man in the shop said that if I dont decide by 20th Sept (tomorrow), they will remove my offer of an upgrade all together. I doubt I can get there tonight to have another look and am worried as I dont know what will happen. i didnt know they gave you a deadline to decide. Does anyone know if this is true?
  • what's have they offered and what you knocking back.
