I requested my PAC and the lady just said she was surprised I could find a deal better/cheaper than the one i was currently on - so I replied saying that I assumed the price would be increasing, she said no I will renew on same deal for you. Sold!
I told her I had purchased the new iPhone 5 from Apple so she is sending out a new nano sim next week as soon as they become available!
Very happy
I thought once you were finished with a 12 month contract that it just reverted to a rolling month-to-month contract. I'm always always out of contract as my past contract has continued without me ever renewing.
I note, however, that I am not a T-Mobile customer.0 -

Unfortunately not as my parents were on the same deal and forgot to renew and there monthly bill went up to £31.98 (thats for 2 of them)0 -

How can it go up? If you don't agree to a new contract, and if they don't cancel your existing contract (considering that their obligation to provide you the same terms lasts at least as long as your obligation to stay with them), I don't see what legal basis they have to raise your rates.
Essentially they would have to provide advance warning that they planned to increase your rates at the end of your term. Without advanced warning, they generally can't legally raise them.0 -

Unless it was a special deal for the term of the contract. For example the £7.50 per month deal they were offering0 -
This is weird!
As previously discussed here I spoke to ''upgrades" 26 days ago, was offered poorer deals than available to new subscribers, asked for and received a PAC, waited for a call from retentions which never came and then got a PAYG SIM from someone else to port to which Im about to do
However earlier today I saw a thread somewhere else about CW doing good deals on the iphone 5 for TMobile customers so went to my local shop to chat
The deal I saw is probably a fake, but when they logged onto their system at CW, TMobile have me as not being eligible to leave and not being eligible for an upgrade
The girl thought this was odd to say the least and spoke to their IT people at head office to check for errors on the CW system (there were none) and then phoned up TMobile who put her on hold for 15 mins whilst I waited at which point I told her to just hang up and left
I then phoned 150 again to be told I was all clear to leave and my PAC was good, the operator did try and tempt me with the previously offered deals which just werent any good - again
All very strange as to why CW's info from TMobile is that Im not eligible to leave or upgrade.....0 -
Hi I am with t mobile and have a contract til Apr 2013. I want to upgrade to an i phone, probably by buying one myself and using my t mobile sim.
Am I right in thinking that as long as the i phone is "unlocked" I can do this? Also my current contract is text and call only, would I have to pay for internet on i phone or is that built into the phone?
Any help much appreciated and apologies if I have hi jacked thread!

If your phone is unlocked you would be able to use the iphone but you will either have to order a micro sim or have your sim cut to size. T-mobile should be able to send you a sim if you ask.
You will have to pay additional for internet. Ask t-mobile if they can add a package. Not sure if you can change though. If you have no internet ensure data is turned off from settings menu before you insert your sim as even if you do not go on the internet you will be charged for usage and charges are usually very high.0 -
Can anyone remind me if TMobile charge rental in advance or arrears ? I thought it was in advance - just had my final bill which if rental is in advance doesn't stack up. Thinking it might be the pac charge. But can't get into my account as I've left. So in advance or arrears ?0
