Which would you suggest Galaxy Ace 2 for free or is it worth paying extra £110 for the Galaxy S2
Is the S2 worth £110 more ??0 -
If having the latest version of Android, an excellent camera (in good light) and a bigger, higher quality screen is important to you and you're happy spending the extra £110, it's worth it.

Ive been a customer for a few years and was eligible for an upgrade this week
Their website offered absolutely nothing of note so I phoned up asking what they could do with a Samsung Galaxy S3 - I was subsequently offered a stock deal from their website which really wasnt anything special and in fact was poorer than those available to new subscribers
I know weve had a bank holiday weekend but still no call back!
Giffgaff here I come - SIM delivered this weekend0 -
Called 150 today, got through to upgrades, and they offered my Galaxy S2 for £60 on current contract:
I'm currently on £10/month:
100 minutes
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Internet.
I'm going to go for it, as it seems a good deal, and I don't need any more minutes.0 -
You won't be getting unlimited internet, T-Mobile only offer that on their full monty with 2000 minutes, it's probably 250MB for streaming/downloading with unlimited browsing.
That said, if you don't do much streaming and downloading, it shouldn't be a problem.0 -

Are you sure? I would have thought if they offered you to stay on your existing tariff that would mean that all your existing terms would apply? At least that is what I would have assumed.0 -

Thanks for the tip, I will make sure that I know exactly which T&Cs apply to me when I call retentions in a months time.0

If you decide to leave T-Mobile, make sure there's no notice period charge or early termination charge before you've actually ported your number.
Quite a few threads about them doing this sort of thing.0 -

Suppose it really does depend on who you speak to and how well you have conducted your account over the years. Even one late payment can impact on upgrade offers.
I just got a Galaxy S3 from T-Mobile for £19 on an £18 a month line rental package. I was also about 5 months over my upgrade date which might have made a difference as well.====0
