in the end the second person i spoke to at retntions was lovely. the first bloke was a proper !!!!!!. he offered me a contract that was more expensive than in the shop, and when i queried that went ... well get it in the shop then, and blew me out.
the deal i got in the end was
htc desire c 300 mins 300 txts unlimited data £12.50
htc one s 300 mins 300 txts unlimited data and unlimited landline calls ( including 08 numbers in my free mins allowance for £22 a month
plus a one off £10 fee.
so i am a happy chicken.

Anyone been offered anything decent from Retentions as been a while since someones posted a deal. My contract up for renewal soon.

Galaxy S3 probabaly too expensive so might go for Galaxy S2. Anyone received any good offers for S2.
  • I want an s2 as well, i still have a few months but noticed that i can login to tmobile and can see my upgrades available, they will sell me an s2 for 240 but i am going when the time comes that retentions can best that.

How much are looking to spend each month? How many minutes and how much data do you need?

Depending on what deal you are looking for, you can get an S3 for £26 a month (24 months) and some cashback too makes it even less, about £23 I think.... that is for 300 mins / unlimited texts / 750MB data.

A lot of the Galaxy S2 deals I have seen have been more expensive than that ^^^ so it seems a very good deal.

If I was coming up for renewal then i'd be looking for them to match that deal as a minimum.

Currently on £15 per month so ideally I want to push them to offer me the same deal. 300 min, 300 text and 500MB Data

£26 per month is for new customer so presuming it will be less when you upgrade. Il check online when my upgrade is in a weeks time.

Anyone who is within their upgrade period see what the monthly amount is for upgrades on S2?

What's the best someone has been offered for S2 through retentions so I know what I can expect

    Have you requested your PAC?

Can request PAC next week as not within 30 days yet. Three signal is my house is terrible plus dont really fancy three. Not worth the taking the risk if it doesnt work out.

In that case, you can have it on T-Mobile for £21.42 per month.

You will have to port your number to another network and then back in to get this deal or simply sign up as new customer with a new number.
