Yeh it's a pretty cheap offer. What do you think of the phone? I'm looking to get one as an upgrade next month.

I think its a very good phone especially for the price I paid for. :) I had a blackberry before, so the internet browsing experience was very different but I love the screen and how fast it loads.

When I tried to upgrade online, they charged £250, so I rung them up and went through to retention's, they have much more flexibility to offer a better deal than going through upgrades, the man then offered it to me for £130. :)
  • I was on £10.50 tariff with 100min/100txt + unlimited landline booster + unlimited internet with £2.50 loyalty discount.
Now they have offered me exactly same tarrif with £6 pound discount (per month) but no phone (sim only 24 month contract).

Do you guys think it is good deal, they are not giving me any discount if I opt for any phone. Not even on Nokia 1800!
  • I was on £15.50 for tariff with 300min/300txt + unlimited internet.
Asked for an upgrade to Samsung Galaxy S2 and was offered 300mins/500txts + 1.5 Gb internet data for £31 monthly & free S2. Then asked to be put through to Retentions and was offered 300mins/500 txts 750 kb data for £22 monthly & free S2. Was told this was the best they could offer. Has anyone else done better? Should I go for this, or should I hold out for a couple more weeks?

750kb of data? Think you'd burn through that in a web page.

I just got my dad an upgrade, £20.50 for 18 months contract, 900mins, unlimited text and data with £20 upfront cost for a white Samsung Galaxy S3. I spoke to a guy called Barry and recorded the full phone call because i have read of some horrible stories.

I asked for PAC code and was put through to retentions. The first offer that I rejected was 18 month contract, 1200mins, unlimited text and data, free Samsung Galaxy S3 white or blue (blue waiting time 2 weeks) for £23 a month.

    Wow.....how did you get that?

The best that they would offer me in retentions for a Galaxy S3 was £36.00 pm on 24 month contract.........I will be leaving them and going to buy an S3, and go with GiffGaff £10.00 goodybag.

    Agree with knobs on
ghumal35 - are you absolutely sure about the details of that deal, its exceptionally good

In fact its as good as the one above is poor when you can get the S3 for £26 a month on a decent package through most online retailers which Im hoping T Mobile will price match when the time comes :)

He's been with T mobile for a long time, intially he got the flex35 contract years ago and was paying £35. Then years ago when he didn't need a new phone, T Mobile offered him 50% discount and he was paying £17.50 but then 18months ago he got a blackberry bold 9700 and start paying £28.77 a month.

Yeah I'm absolutely sure thats what i got, I've recorded the call with T Mobile just in case they back out. The phone is scheduled for delivery on Monday but they've switched the tariff over yesterday as my dad was saying his blackberry services have gone off. I didn't even need to haggle much, just told them I want to leave T mobile and was offered the 1200 mins tariff which i rejected before the guy came back with this offer. I thought of haggling for the £20 upfront cost of phone to be taken off but thought i might be pushing it.
