T-Mobile Retentions

We've two phones on one contract with T-Mobile and have been with them since One2One. Cannot fault T-Mobile customer services whatsoever.
OH likes to have whatever flashy phone is the latest big thing and has had Samsung, LG and HTC recently. I'm on probably my 7th BlackBerry.Camera is pretty rubbish compared to Nokia N95 tho.
I'm quite surprised because when OH calls to renew, we never have to threaten to leave, never have to pay for our phones, always get next day courier delivery and T-Mobile gives us what we want.
We are quite happy to do 24 month contracts and we do barter a bit eg OH wants more minutes (heavy user), I prioritise Internet usage, email and texts so we have been known to reduce my minutes in order to add more to his. T-Mobile often offers us little add-ons for our loyalty as well. No idea how much T-Mobile thinks we are worth tho lol0 -
I'm currently on T-Mobile's £10.21 sim only deal for my iPhone which gives me 100 minutes and 100 texts plus 1GB data. I could do with paying less, having less minutes and texts and keeping the data allowance; I asked for my PAC code which I need to use by 12 April. I was going to switch to giffgaff but am now put off by their latest huge outage and others' comments. Today I saw that Orange have a £7 a month deal (1 year contract) and ordered a sim but since then have seen mention of TalkMobile's £8 deal which is month to month. This admittedly only saves me £2.21 a month. I'm really hoping T-Mobile will come back to try and keep my custom by offering me the same deal but for less money - £5 would do it.I've got a few weeks to shop around, so meanwhile what are others' experiences of TalkMobile?0

Could have got 600 mins + unlimited T-Mob to T-Mob mins + 500 texts for £ 12.50 / monmth or included a new phone (nothing too fancy) on the first deal for £ 12 / month.
Hey, I was just wondering if you went through upgrades or retentions?0 -

Hmm, that's interesting Womble, how did you get that, was it
as a result of you threatening to leave?0 -

I called Tmobile yesterday. All I was offered was the Full Monty scheme at £36 a month, So I gave my months notice, There is nothing wrong with my phone, so I will look around for a sim only deal. But I won`t be hasty in case Tmobile come back with an offer,0

Yes I have a sim only deal too as I'm very happy with my iPhone, so I'm hoping they might call me before the end of the notice period to offer me this deal as well.0 -
My wife has been with tmobile for 4 years...
Her contract has just ended, she called them today & quoted the Tesco mobile deal on the Sony Erricson Mini Pro with 250mins, 5000texts & 500mb of internet for £10... They offered (& she snapped up) the Mototolla Motoluxe free on her existing plan - 300mins, unlimited text & internet for only £9.50!
I am hoping this will still be available when mine is due for renewal in 6 weeks....0 -
On the £10 a month offer for 600mins, 500 texts, 100 international mins to USA and Canada and 1GB web, but lost free booster period and price hiked went to £15.47 or something.
Didn't use all the mins or web, so told them about Virgin's £7 for customers offer on 125 mins, 3000 mins virgin to virgin, 5000 texts and 500mb web but they couldn't match anything so PACed away0
