hello all, my package is currently up for renewal this month. My current package is no longer availble, but suits my phone needs:

3000 off peak minutes (after 7pm and at weekend/publi holiday) and 75 text messages peer month, no free phone and no intrnet. I currently pay £18.38 (this includes VAT) which i a good discount alredy, as th normal price is £30.64 per month.

I m currently on a 18 month contract. I have agreed to two previous 18 month contracts and each time, advisrs would not budge in rducinghe line rental or adding anything else

I telephoned a few times this month, and was determined to get something from T-Mobile, esp as I hadbeen with them since 1994 (remember on2one)

Hve telephoned several times retntions, and just as before, advisors ould not budge, unless I reduced my minutes, then today I manage to get another discount, of a further £5 line rental per month. I agreed to another 18 month contract, and now will pay £12.38 (this includes VAT) bargin h, I am truely over the moon, especially as I have free local, national and xnetwork minutes during off peak, dead chuffed
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

I've been closely paying attention to all the mobile deals over the past month due to my contract ending yesterday. I was horrified that T-mobiles website deals went to utter poop yesterday aswell! Before February you could get a Free T-Mobile Vicacity with the deal of "100 mins, 300 texts & internet £10.31pm" has now changed into a "50 mins, 75 texts no internet £11pm" deal

Tesco mobile have the best "budget" contracts atm, you can get a Galaxy Mini, 250 mins, 500 texts and 500mb internet for £10pm.
And If you're not bothered about the phone, the Samsung Ch@t 335 is same tariff for £7.50.

I phoned up T-mobile to request a PAC code, and quoted Tesco's galaxy mini deal. The guy on the phone agreed it was a good deal and so offered me 300 minutes, unlimited text, unlimited internet *aka 1.5gb allowance* (This was my current tmo tariff anyway but I was paying £15.31pm) and a free SE Xperia Neo, and would match the £10 - 24month contract price.
I've accepted that offer obviously, as that would be a £31 according to their new website plans!

I bet if you quote Tesco Mobile's £7.50 offer you might get an even cheaper deal.
Definitely wont be offered an iPhone 4S, but if all you need is something to text with & check facebook then for 7 quid you're laughing!

Just called up to request my PAC code. I'm interested in iPhone 4S and quoted £69.99 for 300 mins available on both mobiles.co.uk and e2save.com for 24 months. They also both have 18 months contract, 100 mins and £44.99 for handset, this comes to £603 approx which I think is cheapest for an 18 month contract. The lady gave me the spiel that these third party sellers use foreign handsets (is this true) and it's very unlinkley I would get support from Apple if there was a fault. Needless to say she didn't even bother offering me any plans and gave me the PAC straight away. I haven't been through this process before. I have received a text with PAC. I take it true retentions is outbound and I can now expect someone to call me with some offers.....

    Thanks

edit: I'm a bit confused, was I speaking to retentions, I have my PAC confirmed over the phone and received text. This was on my firsr and only call. I don't know if they will call me ?
  • Anyone had any luck with the new Blackberry Bold? To be honest I would like the Full Monty £36 plan but don't want to pay the £50 up front for the phone. Will ring up next week and see what I can get out of them!

No they wont call you. When you call customer service and ask for a pac, they put you on hold right? this was to the agent could call retentions. (unless you selected the option to leave and was passed directly to retentions team) Retentions look at your spend etc and look to see if they can match a the deal your looking at. If not your given the pac.. the end.
If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...
  • Thanks Curr946. It eppears as I was put straight through to retentions as I only spoke to one person. So, I have to either use my PAC to wait until next month.

Just spoken to upgrades (not even retentions) and they gave me the new blackberry bold 9900 for £20 and doubled my minutes to 1200 for free without even asking. Just need to go in store and pick the thing up now!
