T-Mobile Retentions

What sort of branding is on the t-mobile HTC and samsung smartphones these days? I've been with t-mobile for years but it's one of the niggles I have with their phones - I'm considering buying a sim free phone and just moving to a sim only contract to avoid the branding!
I've got the 25% discount on my account from years ago so I'm half thinking I should stay with them but the phone I'd like is only on O2 at the minute (htc rhyme). I had a call from the secret retentions back office "we can do you a deal" earlier having requested my pac number, I didn't haggle much with him this evening but I'm thinking about getting another line on my account for my OH to get his new samsung G2 and use my discount on the account.0 -
How long does it take before retentions call you? Once they do i am going to point out the galaxy s2 deal that affordable mobiles have. £25.54 per month, 300 mins, 300 texts, 500mb internet, phone included at no extra charge and £60 quidco - all for tmobile and an 18 month contract. Best they are offering at the moment is to continue current contract for 18 months and pay about £50 for the S2.0

I called at 1pm for my PAC code and got a call from the retentions team about an hour later.0

No. It was a pretty good deal, the s2 for £25 a month (18 months). But I really don't like the phone.
I've gone for the Arc S with Vodafone (via dialaphone). With the cashback (assuming I get it) it works out at about £19 a month on a 12month contract.0 -
Managed to bag 300 mins, 300 texts, Internet and a booster £25 per month and £20 for the phone - Galaxy S2 - forgot to mention, 18 month contract.0

I secured a SE Xperia Ray (from third party reseller) with 300mins, 300 txts, internet and booster for £15.32 a month (24 months).
