Hi everyone,
I am at the end of my contract (12 months at £30). I am waiting for the SE C905. Has anyone got an idea how much it will be staying on a 12 month contract at £30, or £35 at a push?
Thanks in advance.0 -

Looking for some advice, I recently went through a cancellation process with O2 in the belief that I would be able to get a good cashback deal, as I have done for the past few years. Unfortunately, the cashback deals available now aren't as good as they used to be, so I'm wishing I had taken up O2's offer of 400mins, 1000txts and unlimited O2-O2 calls for under a tenner! Is it worth phoning them up (my cancellation date is still a few days away) and asking if I can still take them up on that offer?0

YES .
They should give you that deal ok again if they already have offered it to you. It should be on your notes, and even if it isn't, just say i'm decided to take up the original offer and stay with O2, as I think your service and network is better. They WANT you, just dont be fobbed off, and if you do speak to someone who isn't playing ball just ring back later and speak to a different person.
Good luck0 -
I requested my PAC code about 2 weeks ago now and havent tried to negotiate a new deal for nearly that long. So considering that im 4 days away from the end of my contract i though it would be a good time to strike for a great new deal like you guys are getting.
Polite guy called Andy offered me this...
O2 Ignito (Free)
1200 mins
1000 texts
Unlimited Web
£35 p/m (18 month)
O2 Ignito (Free)
600 mins
1000 texts
Unlimited Web
£35 p/m (18 month)
I was somewhat confused . I even quoted other "friends" O2 deals, and deals that Vodafone and Orange offered me as a new customer and he just kept saying "thats the best the system will let me offer". This is ridiculous as its miles worse than the other retention deals ive been quoted throughout this last month.
Im considering another call later today and maybe one more in a few days to try and get something half decent, otherwise ill be switching to one of these;
Orange
16gb Omnia (£49.99) [yeah thats the 16gb INTERNAL memory Omnia]
1200 mins
500 Texts
Unlimited Web
£35 p/m (24 month)
£40 p/m (18 month)
Orange
16gb Omnia (£49.99) [16gb INTERNAL memory Omnia]
850 mins
500 Texts
Unlimited Web ?? (cant remember)
£35 p/m (18 month)
Vodafone
8gb Omnia (Free)
600 mins
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Web
£35 p/m (18 month)
Vodafone
HTC Touch Diamond (Free)
600 mins
Unlimited Texts
Unlimted Web
£20 p/m (18 month)

O2 are still the best IMO.
Surely there must be some deal they will give you.Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere......0 -
Just to let you know that a friend of mine on O2 just got a pretty good offer. He was on £35 a month (12 month contract) for 500 mins and 300 texts, both with a permanent roll-over. He'd been with O2 for about 4 years. Most of his bills were £35 a month, although in the past year about 4 had hit over, generally anything up to £65.
Upgrades were useless: they offered poor tariffs and poor phone choices. He got through to retentions who also initially also offered poor options. On mentioning he was interested in the Nokia 6220 Classic he was told it was an expensive phone but that due to "loyalty" they would let him have it for free, along with 600 mins and 1000 texts, all for £25. On asking how long the quotation was valid for, they advised it was valid for 7 days. He wanted to check with me if the phone was worth getting (I have worked for Voda for 7 years and been with T-Mob for 4), the guy asked why he needed to call back, my friend advised he wanted to shop around and call back, the deal offered then suddenly changed to same free phone, 800 mins, 1000 texts, all for £20 a month, as though the retentions agent was desperate!
So; £15 a month off, more mins, more texts and a great free phone.

I personally don't think that can be bettered, definitely not by Voda or T-Mobile. Are O2 losing a lot of customers or experiencing difficulty, forcing them to throw awesome packages at people to retain custom or are they genuinely excellent at rewarding loyalty?
Needless to say he accepted.0 -
Thats not that unusual Darren and not that difficult, u just have to ask and they'll give you that deal at the moment0

hi I am planning on leaving orange due to poor reception in my area and was thinking on going on 02. Is there a number I can ring where I can get these types of deals?0
