If my contract is up on Nov 4th when can i ring from and get an upgrade ? Dropped my phone and its gone a bit dodgy :-/0
-
You can ring from Oct 4th, so a month from today. If you find a really nice deal for a replacement phone with another network you could try asking for your PAC, but with renewal date so far away they might just elect to take the cancellation fee and let you off.
What sort of tariff level are you on at present?0 -

Same again here, the retentions woman went off for a few minutes but offered it without any haggling i just said a friend had been offered the same, i could have probably got more to to think of it but im happy with this deal.0 -

I wanted the Omnia and was going to switch to Orange but this seemed like a great deal.:TThe main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0 -
Ca I ask what your original tariff was?0
-
I have 2 contracts coming up for renewal this week - the existing tariffs were 12 months on £40 (600 mins/500 texts) and £35 (300/500) but on a 100% cashback (by redemption) basis so overall cost was £0.
I spoke to to CPW retentions on Friday and I was offered 18 mths at £35 for 600 mins/unlimited texts and £30 for 300 /unlimited, with a credit of £600 and £510 respectively - ie. £1.67/mth for each contract.
I'm happy to stay with O2/CPW instead of going through the hassle of switching but I do need a new handset on one of the contracts, and I wanted to get feedback on what this would cost.
I was looking for something that could be used as a PDA so I was thinking maybe a Nokia E66, Nokia N95, or the HTC Touch Diamond.
How much can I expect to pay if I took one of these on the higher tariff - how far can i realistically push them for?0 -
I have around 3 months before a can negotiate a new contract with O2 but my phone has given up on me. Is there a way that I can get them to give me a new contract now if I sign a new contract?0
-
This far away from the end of the contract, probably not. Unless you're on a very very cheap contract I don't see them allowing you out of it.
You say your phone has stopped working. What model is it? I believe that if you got the phone direct from O2, you can reasonably expect the phone to work for the whole length of the contract under normal use.0 -
I'd give them a call - just over a year into my 18month contract with O2 my phone died and when I called it turned out that after a year I was entitled to an upgrade. Apparently it's down to you to ask as they don't routinely contact you to advise :rolleyes:0
