Anyone know if this is true? Any suggestions?
Cheers in advance.
I was told when I got my last contract on the K800i that they had non in stock, so I called up and pretended to be a brand new customer coming from another netowrk and low and behold they had a K800i to offer me if I joined SHOCK  ... So I called back as myself (contract renewer) and told them that if they had them in stock for new customers (I was told it could be delivered the next day) then they could damn well offer me one! It worked a treat :j , although they couldn't send me one, they told me which nearest 02 branch had one in stock and I went to collect it that day... Bonus! :TSW Start date 30.09.2011

I just got offered
600 mins
1000 texts
unlimited O2 to O2
for £15 per month via the carphone warehouse...
OR I could sign up for a 'guaranteed' cashback deal which gives £600 cashback and works out at £1.66 per month... (based on the original £35 O2 tarriff)..
I signed up for the cashback deal
I have 14 days notice to cancel if anyone can see a problem with this...
All I did was tell them the deal that you guys were talking about and they matched it (without the extra £150 for not having a new phone)... I made a mistake by telling them about the lack of phone before they'd given me the deal... d'oh....
Sorry, is this with or without a new phone? and if you did get a new phone, what did you go for? ThanksSW Start date 30.09.2011

Im not sure what phone to get so some suggestions would be good, something that is like the iphone and has good internet browsing would be good.

Hi guys,
After seeing the deal Orange were doing (Orange Raccon 10) I decided to give O2 a call to see if they could do anything to compete.
I'm on the Simplicity Online 15 which gives me 200mins, 400 texts and free O2 - O2 calls for £15.
After calling the cancellations department the CS lady said they could do my current deal for £10 for 6 months - I was chuffed with that.
Then she asked if I had broadband & I explained that have SKY mid package which is £5 a month. She said she may be abe to do me a deal on that too as I'm an existing customer which I thought was unlikely as £5 a month is good.
She offered me it for £2.50 a month (new 12 months contract) and I said I liked to find out more. She then said she could do it for free if I joined tonight.
I'm currently in the process of changing over.0 -
I just called O2 and got the same offer - 6 months for £10 then £15 thereafter - its great for me as most of my calls are O2 to O2 which are free and unlimted on this tariff. There is also a number that you can send a blank text to, which then tells you how many free minutes and texts you have left.0

Do you know what that number is?
I'm still waiting on the CS calling back about the broadband though. £10 a month for all that - magic!!0 -
Text 21202 to find out how much texts and minutes you have. If you call 2211 you can get "Treats" - extra minutes or extra texts.
Seems they are taking £5 off simplicity tarrifs for 6 months quite easily. I was on £15 but wanted more so got £5 off the £20.OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090 -
Just got my gf:
500mins/500texts
£15 per month for 18 months
£30 credit so first 2 months free
Free Motorola RAZR2 V8
and she can upgrade in her 17th Month
She's happy enough with that0 -
I'd given my O2 phone contract to my Nana, using a retention deal from a year ago, and was paying nothing at all for 12 months for 25 mins and 25 texts, which as it was just there for her in an emergency was plenty, and took out broadband for my Dad at £7.50 per month. I went to Orange for my contract the last year, but am fed up with them, so thought I'd see what O2 could offer. Wasn't expecting much given that I've not spent much with them, but was pleasantly surprised....
Tried for the RAZR2 V8, offered it at £15 pcm for 18 months with 200 mins and 400 texts. Very tempted... but then went for their next offer of 400 mins, 1000 texts at £15 pcm, £150 credit and no new phone for 18 months - works out at £6.67 per month. I'll just get myself a cheap handset to go with it! Just have to be careful of RSI with all those texts :jLive on £11k in 20110
