So am paying £30 per month for Iphone 4s, 600 mins, unlimited texts and 750mb data. Don't really want to pay anymore (this price also includes £10 loyalty discount) however they are now trying to remove this. I've emailed them sep about this issue as I am not happy. They can only offer me £37 (£1 discount) and waiver the £39.99 fee for upfront cost of the phone. This equates to £2 per month discount not £10 that I get now. I'm wondering what my other options are, I've heard of third party websites offering better deals, which are these and are they safe? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Anyone got any opinion on the following deal I got offered?

    500mins + Unlimited text + 500MB data

HTC One or Lumia 1020 both £27pm

I was more looking at preferably no more than £25pm as I don't need masses of data so 500MB is about right but do require unlimited text. I have a Lumia 800 atm but would prefer to change it.

A SIM-only deal of the above is quoted as £14pm, which I don't think is particularly good.

I think he was just pointing out in terms of what you can get "pound for pound" your deal is quite poor, compared to his.

Your 12 month deal isn't great, there are plenty of other networks offering better deals, a lot of them with only a 30 day commitment.

You do realise this is an o2 retentions thread?

Of course I do. Thanks for pointing it out but I'm not sure what point you're trying to make?

The whole point of detentions is that the network want to keep you as a customer, surely? If you're being offered a !!!!!! deal then they're not really going to retain you, are they? The sensible thing would be to go to the provider who is offering you the best deal?
