I'm on the phone to upgrades right now. I'll let you know how I get on. But I reckon I'm going to T-Mobile.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Ok, best deal I could get out of retentions was 300 mins, with an extra 200 free, unlimited texts, free internet for £25 a month. And a new phone. But they didn't have any phones I liked so I refused their offer!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Been on to retentions again - fyi, on the £35/month tarrif for the one off cost for the iPhone 4 went up £20 from £179 to £199 as of yesterday.
I belive there has been some movement in the £40 / month tarrif however I wasn't looking at it before 1st Sept so cannot comment if it went up or down.
Along with 500MB of data I'm think vodafone or Tescos sometime in the near future.0 -
I was on a £35 tariff with a £15 discount and recently rang to upgrade. I've had the same number on O2 for 11 years! The Galaxy S would be £40 pm if I wanted the phone for free! I'm now on Orange with a free phone for £27.50 pm from phones4u. O2 don't seem interested in keeping you anymore!0

What were you looking for? I want a smart phone (prob. HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S)0 -

I was looking for the Nokia E5, but O2 don't do it. They offered me a 6303 instead!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Couldn't even get the X6 without paying for it! So thinking of going down the cashback route with CPW and getting it for £15 a month. Worked ok before, so I'll risk doing it again!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
You could always go for the Nokia E72 .. they sell it in their business section - http://businessshop.o2.co.uk/phone_detail.aspx?id=298%20&groupid=1&lhn=true
I got the E71 in my last upgrade.. they'll let consumers pick from the business phones
E71 was ace, shame the software was a little buggy0 -
My renewal date is 31st October, I want to cancel and keep my number so I guess I just need to give them 30 days notice before this date in writing? Thanks0

You need to give 30 days notice, but you can ring and request this. Ask for your PAC, they'll send it the next day. Once use your account is terminated.
I rang on Friday, with o2 for 5 years. Was on £35 tarriff reduced to £20. Cost was to go up to £35 if I did nothing, was just offered standard package and no resistance when I requested PAC. will be going on Tesco deal and saving £25 a month. No brainer for me.0 -
Just spoke to O2 and they wouldnt even offer me anything to stay and I have been with them for at least 10 years.
Hey ho, off to Tescos!0
