£32 18 month agreement!

I told the guy over the phone that will i keep the LL calls he told me no, so i said no problems, logged back in to my o2 and it was still there, and though that's a bit strange! So rang up 02 to clarify and they told me yes it was there, so i said don't do anything to my account. The stupid lady rings me back saying it was an clerical error i advised and i shouldn't have got it., i explained that it's not my fault and you guy's can't just take things out when you want too. If its on there, i just rang up to confirm i had everything on my tariff!

Rang up o2 today, they kept saying it wasn't offered as part of the deal, i had it black and white on the agreement. they have now added the unlimited landline calls, got the guy's name and extension number hopefully in 24 Hours this will be sorted and reverted back to how it was. They gave me enough, but they should honour the deal at least and not make change's when they wish too. I think i was lucky to get the deal that i had as it's pretty good for the price!

My daughter's phone contract was ending next month, I was told to call them exactly 1 month before it ends for an upgrade deal. So phoned them yesterday, spoke with the upgrades team and the best she would offer me was a W995 on an 18 month contract with 300 mins and 300 texts at £20. Feeling rather disappointed considering I got a far better deal last time with a £15 loyalty discount off any deal, which she said was no longer available. I told her I wanted to cancel, hoping it would stir her to give me some better options, instead she duly cancelled the contract, without another word!

Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time poster here (:

Looking for a bit of advice, I'm due to ring up o2 to give my months notice from my contract on monday, however I've been looking at getting and iphone if I can get a reasonable deal. Anyone got any tips of what to ask for if I want to get a reconditioned 3gs and what kind of prices I could be looking at?

Well, after 10+ years I am off; no movement with me whatsoever; even the retentions woman agreed I would be better going to PAYG, so it's cheerio O2 and thanks for the memories...

I'm not a big user, normally 120mins and 200 text per month but sometimes both getting close to 300.

Last time retentions offered me -
300 mins
300 text
Unlimited o2 o2 calls
For £10 per month for 18 months and gave me £150 credit for not having a new phone, so £30 for my whole 18 months !!

I also have my Home Broadband with o2 so that is normally £12.50 a month but because I'm a o2 mobile customer that should be £7.50 but because i threatened to leave they gave that to me for £5 for 12 months.

Anyway back to my phone renewal, I wasn't expecting anything really so I have been comparing the SIM only deals

Anyway I phoned retentions, said i wanted to leave, they said why so I said I'm going to the Vodafone £10 a month SIM only deal.
No problem they said, we'll match that, So i got -

£10 a month for a 12 month contract.

I'm happy with that considering what they have been offering and I wanted to stay with o2 to maintain my Home Broadband discount.

OK not great deal like I've had in the past but better than nothing.
