500 mins,unlimited texts,unlimited data,£40 for the phone 24 month contract, £30 a month.
I've been a O2 costomer for 6.5 years and I'm not sure if this is a good enough deal considering it's a 24 month contract.
Anybody had a cheaper contract than this?
Offered me a similarly poor deal, they just aren't competative with the desire.:(0 -
hi
I took a similar deal. I got unlimited o2 to o2 which I had to fight for, 300 xnet mins, unlimited text and data and phone for £40. This is £30x24 month. I'm happy because I love the phone and dont change often. I've had my last phone for 2 years.
I couldnt be bothered to change from o2, they are always helpful when you call and all my family are with o2 so the unlimited is good for me. I suppose the £285 deal for the handset is good but I didnt want to shell all that out at once.
One thing, I know my phone is new and that I am on it a bit, but its good to know that that you have unlimited data. I think you could quite easy get upto 500mb, which is the cut off for some other providers.0 -
the desire is in very high demand, maybe wait a week or so, then try during the week, at daytime.
i know someone who got a simplicity 900 mins 12mnth contract for £20 + £5 for the smartphone bolt on= total £25 mnth 12mnth contract for the deisre at a price of £150
very good offer, trying for the same tommorrowsave me money not time0 -
I couldn't find a grabbit deal on it nor a mobile thread so just thought I would mention alot of people via HUKD on here:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/675880/htc-desire-in-contract-upgrade-285-?
Are getting HTC Desire for £285 without contract without an upgrade without any obligation in what seems like a premptive retention deal, someone described it as a PAYG offer for O2 Contract customers only. DHL tracking has mine coming sometime today.0 -
Hi, we have a business account and are due an upgrade on 1 number. The guy is quite happy with his phone so i am contemplating "upgrading" and selling on to cover some of the costs. I am not really up on whats hot so can you give me a top 3 that are good ebay sellers and approx how much they are worth please? Couple of examples they gave me (as the guy has a blackberry) were:
BB 8900 42.54
BB 8250 free
BB 9700 £127
BB storm2 £127
cheers!0 -
alternatively, talk the retentions team into applying a credit in lieu of a new phone - the consumer tariffs certainly do this, and business probably would
or go for a SIM-only contract anyway - and actually, the consumer tariffs might look better value than the business ones, so point that out to retentions and see what they say

hi, never thought of that cheers!
The issues are we have a couple of phones on a 2 year contract, and this one on a 1 year so dont want to be locked in for 2 more years. We use alot of minutes (externally and o2-o2) so cant see PAYG being an option0 -
Just tried o2 retentions again for a HTC desire, but offered the same expensive deal.£30 p/m,£40 for the phone,500 mins, unlimited txts, unlimited web 24 month contract.
I think I'm going to try Vodafone for the HTC legend.Anybody had any luck with the Legend?0 -
