I dont think you have to be on simplicity for 6 months. Been on O2 simplicity 30-day rolling contract for 2 months...Rang this morning and offered
18mth contract, free 16gb 3gs iphone black refurb, 600 mins, 500 txts, unlimited wifi & internet, £31 per month (discounted from £35). Said, no 32gb in stock though...Thought it was a good deal, so took it..Just went through to retentions through 202 from O2.

I tried to get the exact same thing (well I would have settled for 35) twice today. Said the same thing twice.

Maybe there was a period when 02 didn't do credit checks on simplicity deals, that I just happened to join during, either way I am kinda confused now.

If you're a new customer who joined on a simplicity, you have to wait 6 months before upgrading.. existing customers can upgrade after the first month on the simplicity.. :beer:

happy with the deals i just got for myself and the missus.

2 x 16gb 3gs black reconditioned iphones FREE
2 x £35 per month (24mth contract) of 500min + 500txts

i then added a £7.50 extra 500 txt bolt-on, and they said they could actually make that unlimited on both packages, making it £42.50.

they then said they could knock £3 per month off each package.

so got FREE phones, 500mins, Unlimited txts, Unlimited internet & wifi etc... all for under 40quid per month, so happy with that!

I was offered a better deal than that at £35 for the 16GB. 18 month contract, 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet. Personally I'd ring them back and cancel that deal as it's not the greatest.

well, i'm happy with it
especially compared to what they were offering last month

may have something to do with previous monthly usage

its actually 600mins we get, not 500 as i said previously

How did that work?

Were you inbetween a sim only deal and called them up to buy the HD2?
