wow, o2 deals seem to really suck these days.
last jan i got, a free SE c905 (when it was new) 600 mins unlimited txt, unlimited net, and an international thingy (for cheap calls abroad) for £20 a month.
doesnt look like i will be staying with them in june then looking at what they now seem to be offering.
I brought an iphone 3gs for £320 from the usa which after i sold the phone i got cost me about £60 all in all.
if the vodafone sin only is still going for similar to what i have now and o2 wont give me at least the same again i will tart sim only deals thru quidco to save up for a simfree 4g phone when they are out.If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -

4g is going to take another 2-3+ years to even come about, even if they can get it working, they will have to upgrade every mast, that costs millions of pounds and networks are not going to do that for some time. Not even all masts in the UK have 3g yet, so what are the likes you are going to get 4g. 4G is testing and will be for some time.Kind Regards

A couple of days ago I was offered a renewal with O2 for a new iphone 16gb 3gs 24months at £35 and the phone comes free...I did not say yes straight away and rang back and the deal was agreed. Today I got an email saying the phone was out of stock and was advised to ring the upgrades department??
Have been with O2 for ages and the last deal I had was superb, a refurb N95 8GB and 600 mins 1000 texts and unlimited web all for a 18 m £20 a month contract.0 -

If you are ok with refurbs you might want to try to get 32gb 3gs on 18 month for £35 (what I got - 600 mins etc).0 -

If o2 do not mention this is refurbish iphone then they are breaking the law. When they say we can offer an iphone 3gs for £35 per month for ... then they should at that point it its a refurbished iphone. I would demand a new one, if they didnt say.Kind Regards

Yes, you need to watch out for that. They call it "re-boxed". I'm ok with that. As good as new!!0 -

Guess so, but you are paying like £300 extra over 18 months, so you are really paying for a new one.Kind Regards

Thank you, I think O2 are out of "refurbs" at the moment but I was offered an older 8gb Iphone on a 12 month deal for £25 a month. Am ringing them again a bit later to get an update on stock of the newer iphones.0

Rang them today and it turns out they are not out of stock they just need to make extra credit checks on me as I am having it posted to my work address. Cant speak to that department until monday. Will keep looking for a better deal in the meantime!0
