Thanks
Worth a try, but just remember they usually log your account with all telephone calls so they will no that you have previously phoned up
so do you want the 35pm tariff, and free phone with unlimited internet??
if your an existing customer i can see why they wont give you that0 -

Ideally I want your offer! But yes, I'd be happy enough with 35pm free phone, unlimited internet and around 600 mins & text.0 -

well i cant see why they wont because they offered that to me - what do you pay now?
might have trouble getting what i dont know why you cant get the 35pm one
i also got told i could keep the monthly cost at 30 and pay for the phone before being given it so that might be another possiblity....

I received a similar mail from O2 from Matthew Key's dept - in fact I think the wording was exactly the same as the one Paulharibo.
I got a call from them on the 5th day basically saying they wouldn't do anything to match it - even though I could go to Phones 4U and get a better deal... so that's what I did, Phones 4U were pretty good and got a good deal for me (at the time).
Now though, the wife got a better deal on a Blackberry and money off by trading in her old phone a few weeks back.
Good luck with O2!!

Sorry if this is the wrong place and for high jacking the thread, but i need some advice:
Am i entitled to a brand new handset?
6 months ago i re newed my O2 contract and got the Sony Ericsson C905. Within days, the software crashed and i was issued with a replacement (refurbished) handset. This worked fine until the end of last month when the software crashed again. This time the phone was sent back for repair. Iv had the phone back just over a week and you've guessed, yet another software issue!
I called O2 and have been advised i can have a different model but has to be a refurbished handset.
Is this not wrong? Since i have already had a "refurbished" handset once already which has failed and been repiared, am i not entitled to a new handset? Since re newing my contract i have had one new handset which as mentioned crashed within days. In effect i have been without a new handset since starting this contract
Any advice would be great!
Many thanks0 -

I joined o2 1 week ago, got simplicity 15 for £14.96 200 mins 600 texts and o2 to 02 calls as a bolt on.
I called today to tell them i was leaving, because they still hadn't delivered the sim. They changed me to Simplicity 20 600 mins 1200 texts, unlimited wifi and unlimited web, and o2 ireland bolt on. for £19.680
