I have just come off the phone
I have been 02 customer for 3 years, happy with the phone i have
The deal i got ( same as last year plus extra)

250 minutes for £ 15 per month for 12 months contract, no phone
O2 will give £ 100 this month hence this works out to be £6.60 per month
When i asked for some text message she said she will add 400 per month

I hope this helps some one with their negotiation with o2

Forgot to post what happened when i was on the phone wanting a upgrade.
I tried to upgrade on Thursday and was told yeh i phone 2 years £44 a month for 2 years i said i wanted a line rental reduction as i was paying on average £70 a month for the past 18 months.
She stated that Apple dictate the line rental prices and they couldn't move i said fine i'm off and asked to be disconnected in 28 days.
She was happy with this and asked if i wanted to take my number with me i said no (as i'm looking to change the number anyway) so i left it at that and decided to look at Orange,T mobile and Virgin.On Friday i was ready to go with the N97 mini through phones for you when i got a call on my phone from O2 asking why i was leaving ( i thought it was a bit suss to start with so i said i'd call back from my mobile and got the girls name and was out through to her when i called) Anyway she asked why i was leaving and i stated i felt i was getting nothing from O2 and wasn't being rewarded for my loyalty.
Outcome was

Iphone 3gs
1000 mins
500 txts (plus bolt on to make it unlimited)
Unlimited Internet
24 month contract
plus after much haggling a free Nintendo ds lite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite happy with that.

£15 for 18 months!

I didn't think you could get a free bolt on from o2 for the iphones any more.
