It looked like the unlimited web only applies to the simplicity 12 month sim
did you get £150 cashback as well???
Yes certainly is have O2 paperwork sent through the post as well to confirm it. Didn't get the £150 cashback though, to do that I would of had to have signed up to a new contract.Cheers

I'm currently in my upgrade period, and looking to upgrade to the SE C905, my current plan is;
200 mins
200 texts
Free web Bolt on
I'm currently in a 12 month contract, and realise that I shall have to move to an 18 month contract, Vodafones best deal is £25.:rotfl: Smile Your Saving:rotfl:0 -
I just phoned up and the best they would offer me was 25 pound a month Nokia 6600 600 mins and unlimted text, but I had to take out a 24 months contract, I can get the same deal on 18 month contract with Car phone warehouse,
I have now cancelled my 02 contract, have been with them for years as well. Awaiting my Puc code so that I can keep my phone number0 -

Want the Nokia 5800? Well.. that will certainly mean you'll be able to get discounts on your tariff. From this thread, it sounds like you could go for that phone with 600 minutes + 1000 texts + internet on phone for £20 a month. Also ask them if they can reduce your O2 broadband - they gave me a years free access (worth £90 to me).
Find an O2 tarrif you like (forget the price) and ask what they can do it for. I'm on a £35 tarrif with a £15 monthly discount.
TELL THEM.. don't expect them to offer you stuff. Your 'loop' is caused by your own indecisiveness.
Is it me or has this thread dried up over the last week since O2 started messing about with their tariffs?
Are people not negotiating the retention deals that used to be frequently mentioned on here?
I'm currently on Simplicity 30 day notice tariff and was seriously interested in trying for a Nokia 5800 on something like above but will it be possible at the mo?...0 -
anyone know if they offer any discounts on a second contract?0
-
They dont offer discount on second contract as such, on consumer tariffs. But if you sign up on the business tariffs you do get discount on certain tariffs on the second and more lines you have on the one tariffs. The disadvantage is that you generally share the total minutes / sms between each of them. But the line rental can be cheaper than two, get good customer service, unlimited sms, unlimited 10 landline numbers, International saver etc..
If your first contract is a consumer one and out of contract you can be ask to move to a Business tariff and than get the second one added to it as an extra line.0 -
This thread seems to have died a death -
9 days ago I posted
"does anyone else think that the deals now being quoted for various phones don't seem as good as they ere a month back ?"
Is this the case that o2 aren't offering any decent deals therefore there isn't anything to post ??0 -

Yes. I'm leaving them because their retention deals are worse than standard tariffs from other providers at the moment.
It's a joke, I have been with them for 5 years but I'm not putting up with this.0 -
I hope they see sense and at least offer say a fiver off a month what new customers get- I'd rather have a standard set in stone than hassle haggling every year to be honest.0
