Or whats the best phone to get to resell?
I want the Sony Ericsson C905 but I can buy it for about £170 on eBay.. so was thinking, if I could get a higher value phone off O2, sell it then buy the phone I want.. I've made a few quid extra.0 -
I think I did well. I was offered:
18 month contract
400 cross network min
1000 text
Free O2 2 O2 calls
£150 credit as no phone required
Cost £15/month
I said I wanted internet and he said that was £7 a month more.
Said I needed to think about is as I usually go for free redemption cashback deals.
He called back in one hour, I said I was tempted but really wanted web. He put me on hold and said he would talk to supervisor.
He gave me the free internet too!! So I got:
18 month contract
400 cross network min
1000 text
Free O2 2 O2 calls
£150 credit as no phone required
Unlimited inernet
Cost £15/month.0 -
Ordered the Blackburry Bold reconditioned. £20 a month, 600 min 1000 txt.. same as everyone else.
I'm reselling the phone so I can buy the Sony Ericcson C905 - Do you sell the reconditioned Blackberry Bolds as though they are brand new on eBay? Is their any difference?0 -

You cannot sell a second-hand phone as new! You'll end up getting a complaint and losing your money from your paypal account. You could probably sell it as used-like new though I'd imagine.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Hiya!
Hoping someone can help me here...
I'm after a new phone and contract. At the moment i'm on o2 sim only and can cancel with a months notice. I want to stay with o2... if I call them up and say I want to go onto a 'proper' contract, will they offer me the deals you all seem to be getting (i'm not after much, just £5 off the cost on their website from £30 down to £25 so it matches what others are offering).
Secondly, can they just transfer me from sim only onto a contract rather than going through the hassle of letter writing to cancel?
Thanks for any help0 -

they might offer you some discount for a 18 month contract, but i doubt it would be much as they go on your monthly spend over X amount of time. Ring 100, option 2, then 2 again from o2 phone
I went with;

I know its classed as 2nd hand but someone may have only had it for a day, took it out the box, took one look then put it back in. Other people on this thread have sold them claiming to get £250-£300, and all of them are reconditioned also. Anyone else done this and did you get away with it?0 -

I sold my reconditioned Blackberry Bold urgrade from o2 on ebay and got £240 for it last month. I advertised this as a reconditioned handset because o2 doesnt send it in the original box.0 -

Maybe I should have got the Blackburry Curve instead.. Nevermind, it's done now. Would it be possible if I copied your auction listing? Maybe if you could let me know your eBay username.0
