Got my Samsung Pixon this afternoon, love it, really easy to use. Not too big, have gone from a 8gb N95 and it isnt too different in size from that. Touch screen is really responsive - easy to use with or without the stylus.
    How fast is it?

My biggest gripe with my n95 8gb is that the software is slow, especially if you have stored text messages.

Seems pretty fast to me, though i've only had it for a couple of hours so haven't explored all the features yet.

  • Hey, I've just got a quick question.
I havent found any answers so far (maybe its always asked differently).

I am currently an existing o2 customer and renewed my contract last month (18 month) and i am looking to get a second phone line on my account for someone in my family.

Can i get a discount on this new phone number, like discounted line rental? or will it be treated as a new customer, but under my account and bank details?

    TIA

  • Hi,

Recently I lost a Blackberry 8110 Blue, and I didn't have insurance at the time. Is there any way I can get a replacement from 02 at a discount rate. I have phoned but have been unsuccessful.

Also I have recently upgraded (through retentions) to the 8900 on a separate contract. Would I still be able to get a retentions deal on my other contract in the summer because of this.

    Thanks

Fashion they are unlikely to offer you another handset even if it is discounted, they have already given you 1 and they will want you to cover the cost of that one first. best option is to look for another one on ebay :(
  • If the contract you lost the phone on is due for an upgrade, why not make do with a cheap phone now, and get a new one in the summer (which you will be able to do if I understand your post correctly) Alternatively, buy the phone you want now, and then get a retention deal for the £150 credit in lieu of a free phone.

Re the lost handset. I would give o2 a try. they recently offered me a re conditioned blackberry bold, reconditioned just meant someone had sent back within 14 days and it had a new facia and was checked over and wiped. This was a lot cheaper and they must have to get rid of these handsets somehow. Yu culd check out prices on ebay and see if they could sell one cheaper. Its worth a try, as you could always say you were considering going to another network to get a new phone and letting your contract expire. Probably not what you would do but they dnt know that
