That's because it's refurbished, you'll get a much better deal that way. They have to get rid of the handsets somehow!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Phoned up retentions today to see what deals they could offer me. I wanted a 12 month contract still - she said she could do this however cannot discount the line rental as the retention deal is to get a 12month contract. I wanted the Sony ericsson c905, which i have seen on mobiles.co.uk for 12 months with orange 200mins 500texts £30pm and £39.99 for the phone.. (and £40 cashback through quidco) so in effect its £360 for the 12 months. The best they could offer was £40pm for the phone free, or £35 and the phone £195. She said she could do a 18month for £20 - however it works out the same for a 18 month to a 12 month... however the time periods are obviously different. So i bought the orange one off mobiles.co.uk!! That way i know its ended by this time next year if anything happens with the job.

My 18 month contract comes to an end this month - paying £19.57/pm for 420min + 1000 texts and I got a Sony Ericsson w880i which I'm happy to keep at the moment as it suits my purposes adequately. Thus I'm looking to reduce my monthly bill by switching to a sim-only deal on a rolling 1month contract. Do I have any chance of negotiating better sim-only deals than what they advertise for new customers? Thanks.0

I think I just got the deal of the century on my mobile.
200m 400txt unlimited o2 to o2 calls.
18 month contract....
£10 a month....(£180)
15 months free...(£150)
Average monthly cost....
£1.666666666667!
I thought my last cash back was cheap at £1.99 (600m 500txt, but only ever use 350 of each)
SO HAPPY
thanks for the heads up, it made me call back.
yesterday i was offered £150 off as well, but on a £15 a month contract so it was still more expensive than a cashback deal.
tried to switch unlimited o2 calls with internet but they wouldnt budge :P0 -
out of interest, do you think i could have got them to switch the unlimted o2 with free internet?0

so you did no talking, and they were like 'sir, have this , this , this and this free'
i'd believe you if you got unlimited o2 minutes, internet is reasonable as its black berry
but free home internet too?!?! and your texts are unlimited!!0 -
@toothpick
I tried that one to get them to change for free internet.
The answer was no, as you need to be on a certain price plan before that is an option.
Just think if you do use the internet i dont think you pay more than £1 per day anyways, thats what they told me.
