Free Samsung Pixon
£24.60 per month.
Lady in retentions was very nice - said she would do the deal for the Pixon or the Tocca ultra.
Not bad. Did you have to sign up for another 12 months or 18?0 -
18 months, dont mind the length of contract - its only an extra 6 months.
Just been having a good look at the Pixon on the samsung website, really hope it's as good as it looks! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

......was a bit underwhelmed by the offers to be honest, gonna sleep on it tonight.
Phoned twice to see if i could do better but was told its all calculated out by your usage etc and wouldnt get any better offers.
The thing thats holding me back now is the Toco Ultra aint getting the best of reviews just now, mind you forums with user opinions are sometimes just full of complainers!0 -
I'm a fairly low user so wouldnt expect great offers either. I swithered between the Tocco ultra and the Pixon. Went with the Pixon in the end as it had better reviews. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Was in the same position had gone from vodaphone contract to o2 simplicity cheapest tariff at the time £15.
I called them and they explained that the good deals would only be avilable after Id been with them for a year so to try and hang on which I did.
They gave me a date to call back and the deals offered were the usual £20 for the £35 per month tariff with a good new phone ie c905, blackberry etc or £15 with less mins on an older new phone. I could also get the keep your own phone, cheaper tariff.
Would advise that your wife waits a couple of months you are then treated the same as a pay monthy existing customer. was offered the same deals as my other half who is a larger spender with o2
Hope this helps0 -
Phoned retentions today, only phone i fancy is the tocco ultra but the reviews have put me right off it.
Now that i have phoned retentions and threatened to leave, can i simply just sit and wait til the summer til some better phones come out and upgrade then? I honestly dont fancy anything thats out at the moment!0 -
Absolutely. You'll just continue to pay the same as you were, but you'll be able to leave at any point (or upgrade).Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

I find the pixon to be a decent enough phone...........think the internet on it is poor though and the widgets are !!!!!!!!! I cant seem to find a list of the available ones and the 'find more' option is as far as I can see a waste of time.
Others may well like the widgets and internet on it but I wish I hadnt bothered :rolleyes:0
