    Have my plans been scuppered?????

    I am currently on a 12 months deal with e2Save where I have to send in bills 6,8,10 and 12 before I get my cash back.

    I have just got my 12 months bill and sent it away but yesterday I got a phone call off a e2save rep asking if i wanted a new contract etc with them.

    I said I was looking about and then she must have had access to my o2 account as she asked if I had already upgraded, as it said my new renewal date was september 2010.

    I said I had spoken to o2, then she said I might not get the last cash back if I have already signed a new deal is this right???? Or was she just trying to get me to sign to them.

    If so I will need to cancel my new redemption deal until I get the £96 they owe me... :(

    E2save is part of the carphonewarehouse, and I'm in a similar situation. However, it's the carphonewarehouse that my deal is with, and I also upgraded before the end of the 18th month. I've just received a text from them saying that my claim has been approved, so I don't see why E2save should be any different. I have cancelled my upgrade though because it was a rubbish deal, so that might make a difference, although I'm still not back on the original contract as O2 thought it wasn't worthwhile for 1 month. So in essence I'm in the same position as you.

    Hence, I can't see any way they could get out of paying it to you, as you've already run the course of at least half the last 2 months. I do think it would be fair however if they only agreed to give you half, i.e. month 11, as that was when you upgraded.

  • I currently pay £35 a month, with £10 a month cashback (well I did until O2 messed up a month ago, but that's a different story!) What I would like to know is when am I eligible for a retention deal? The last 2 times I have been told I have to wait until the full 18 months is up. Is this true considering I can just upgrade 1 month early? (i.e. while staying on the same tariff)

    Can I really not get a retention deal until the final day of the 18th month, or are O2 just trying to put me off?

    Has anyone had any luck on a retention deal recently for a Sony Xperia X1? If so what was the deal you were offered?
  • Did you pay for the phone or was it free?

    Decided not to take a new phone in the end as there weren't really any that I wanted, so I settled for the following:

    200 mins
    400 texts
    18 month contract
    £10 per month
    £150 credit

    So £1.67 per month :money::T
