Do you know what phones are coming out in march?
I know the LG cookie is out soon as is the SE T700 but its been held back a couple of weeks.
Other than a few SE phones I haven't really noticed any new phones at the moment.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

Have you seen the W705? That thin slider or whatever lol. I get confused with the SE model numbers :rolleyes:0 -
There is a thin slider on the future phones page but like you I get mixed up with them all. I did write them all down the other day but I left it at work. :rolleyes:Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

You mean this page?:
http://shop.o2.co.uk/Coming_Soon_Phones
I cant see it.
Is it ok you give me the list when you can? I'm currently in the stage of whether to leave or wait for new phones.
Sorry if its too much hassle0 -
The list is only available on the o2 intranet
I don't know if I'm in work or not tomorrow, if I am I'll post them when I'm on my lunch.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

I was after the Blackberry Bold simply because it could do so much. Finally spent some time with my brothers Bold and I realised it's not for me... yet!
I can see why it's such a winner. Great screen, trackball is great after a few seconds of finding its 'sensitivity'. Quick (not like my old N70). Packed full of so many features. I just felt it wasn't for me, too serious and well, business-like!
So, it's back to the drawing board for me. I think I'll keep my current tariff but I would like a new phone.
Should I set up a new thread to discuss my phone needs and get suggestions or post it here? I don't wanna distract from the business of retentions (after all it is the 'retentions thread') LOL!
I would like to see what you get in the end. You seem to be in the same situation as me. I had my heart (lol) on the Blackberry Bold, but I found it wasn't for me. Probably too big for my pocket.
Like Grolsch said I would have a look at the Curve 8900. I think I'm gonna go for this phone.
Grolsch I phoned yesterday and they said my offer acceptance period was up. Do you think I can still get the same offer again if I just ring up? (8900, 600mins,1000texts,£20/m)0 -

Hi FashionManO2,
You should be able to still get the £20 deal.
I phoned up this afternoon and got it with free broadband also, at first Rachael (O2 rep), said I could not have as I was already on O2 broadband, but I said that on my previous calls the other reps said they would sort something out.
Anyway after being put on hold for about 10 mins it was sorted and got it for free.
Must say everyone I have spoken to have been very pleasant and easy to talk to and very professional. Nice one O2.
Give them a bell and be as nice as pie to them bit of chit chat and I don't see why you won't get that deal again.
Let us know how you get on, also ask them if the handset is a refurb or brand new.
I asked and she told me it was new but I'd like confirmation from another source to put my mind at rest
Should get it tomorrow :j0 -

They send you to the retentions department.
retentions = they are the last people you speak to who can give you their "best" deals for your account. They can usually match or give you a better deal, if not they can cancel or issue your pac at your request.
You make upgrades sound worthless! lol0
