12 months free BB is common offer on upgrades, I don't think you will get 18 months, I havn't seen any post reporting full 18 months free BB...
Anyway after payment holiday you would paying 7.34£/months which is very good anyway...
Oh yes, am very happy with it, and am happy to pay the £7.34 after the 12 months too. Excellent customer service from o2 allowing me to take it up after I'd agreed a new contract - well done o2!0 -

Ok I had a quick look, I didn't get to do a proper check because it was manic at work today but its not showing as our future devices and they normally show up about a month or 2 before they're brought out.
Once its calms down a little or if I get time on my dinner I'll have a better look for you.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

just tell them you want the n95 8gb and to not hold back when using the pot for your account, get em to put you on a £35 tariff then reduce the line rental by £15 so you can get the unltd data bolt onmost times if you come on and are nice and polite and have abit of banter you will get a good deal, i know that may sound unfair but when people are arrogant and demanding you can match the deal they are looking for but still know you could have given em more but they didnt deserve it for their manner!

This is a good offer and I am contemplating it but would like to move it a 12 months contract. Do you think it would be wise to ask 02 to move it to 12 months and for me to pay £30 a month instead? This way noone loses and I am happier.
I'm going to be in the same situation as yourself tomorrow.
Spoke to a lovely lady on Wednesday but I was one day to early with my upgrade.
She said she would phone me back on Saturday when she is back at work to see what she cn do for me.
Good to know that you can get the Blackberry 8900 via retentions @ £20 per month albeit an 18 month contract.
I'm currently on a £15 12 month contract!
I don't mind paying a wee bit mo for what I realy want and £20 seems really good.
Already paying for O2 Braoadband (got it with £60 quidco cashback), see if I can get that for free no harm in trying
I would also rather have a 12 month contract and if I get offered the £20 18 month deal then I will ask her if I can get it on a 12 month contract, be willing to go up to £25 per month or keep it @ £20 and pay £up to £50 for the handset.
One other thing, my wife is with Orange on a 12 month deal also which ends same time as mine and she wants to come back to O2.
Do you think I could get her on the same offer as myself or maybe be able to just add another account on the same deal and then port her PAC over when she gets it.
Or she only get a standard deal?
cheers now :beer:0 -
Please help with my newbie retentions questions! I asked similarly here a while ago but no-one replied so I've not called them
What's the cheapest deal I might get a Blackberry Bold with free internet for? And what other companies/persons deal should I quote to get it? (been paying £30 for a few years now without bothering upgrading) I've seen 600xnet for £20/month mentioned, but I hardly ever use it to call and 100 minutes would be plenty, perhaps 200 tops, if this meant I could get it for cheaper (I really need to save money).
Or would I be better just to go for the cheapest 18 month +150 credit no phone deal and risk spending the £280ish on ebay for a phone instead?
Finally would the normal web bolt on be cheaper and/or easier to get than the instant Blackberry email one? (I use webmail and wouldn't need or want emails pushed through so I'm thinking just the normal one would be ok - if I'm missing something here please let me know). Thanks! Glyn
the bold is only foc on a £45 tariff then with max discount can come down to £27, or you can pay for the bold about £50 quid on a £35 tariff and "might" get it reduced to £20 with the blackberry bolt on included, hope this helps0 -

on a 12mnth contract for the curve you will need to pay about £40/mnth, no chance of just putting it up £5 from the previous save deal, sorry0 -

Thanks very much for taking the time, but don't go to too much trouble! Anything interesting on the SE list? Thanks0 -
Despite my being ready to upsticks and take my PAC code to another network, I'm still holding out for O2 and the 5800. (Probably thanks to some very persuasive people in Retentions, doing a good job guys
). I'll wait until next week now and see what happens.
For the O2 people that post here, anyone know when O2 will be getting the SE W705? Its on the Mobile Guide section of the O2 site, but not available yet. A couple of third party sites have it for pre-order. I guess its coming soon? May be looking at that, I really like SE's but the C905 is just huge, however the W705 seems to tick the boxes.......
I'll also take a look for you tomorrow on our spreadsheet.0
