I am overdue an upgrade but to be fair i havent done it yet because i am at a loss as to what i want phone wise so many to pick from
can any suggest a top phone great camera, music, 3g, quad band, easy to use interface (currently i am using samsung which i find easy)
i would also like the option to access hotmail or web mail while out of the house.
my children have 3 phones with free msn ? this is a great option to have i think
Anyway if anyone can point me in the direction of a good handset i can narrow the list then possibly work on getting the best deal from there.
Thanks in advance

I just got off the phone to o2 retentions, got an amazing deal
:D
I've been with o2 for only 1 year, was on a 12 month contract paying £35 and getting 400 texts and 500 mins with a free LG Viewty. I was due for an upgrade so i called o2 and they gave me:
- 18 month contract, 1200 mins and 1000 texts for £26.80 a month
- A choice of a free bolt-on (I chose free internet)
- One off payment of £48 pounds for the Sony Xperia X1
Should have it in 3-4 days0 -

I've been with o2 for 5 years now and always fight for one hell of a bargain at the end of my contracts.
I'm currently on, 800 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and free N95 for £35 p/m.
I rang up yesterday to upgrade as I'm in the last month, after 6 phone calls, 2 hours and 3 threats to leave later, I walked away with this...
Free Apple iPhone 3G 16GB, 900 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet, unlimited landline calls, unlimited o2 to o2 calls, only a 12 month contract for £30 a month.:T
untill i see it i cannot belive it i am afraidIf i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -
I have been offered:
18 months
Blackberry 8900 Curve
600 minutes
1000 texts
Blackberry unlimited internet
Free broadband
Question for any O2 in the knows:
As I have already got the broadband from O2 is it still possible to get this FREE?
Also could not add on another mobile on my account for the same deal (for the wife), and the only deal I could get for the wife would be the standard one on the web or in the shops.
So for the wife I will have to get her onto O2 (same handset and tariff), via quidco and probably mobiles.co.uk to generate £40 cashback quidco & £100 automatic cashback no redemption stuff to offset the 18 months @ £35.
Or has anyone any Ideas to get a another good deal for a BB 8900 curve?0 -
When I took out my retention deal at the start of Feb I politely declined the broadband as I am living in Halls at the minute - do you think I could phone up and ask if they could give me the free broadband in 6 months when I move into my new house (which needs broadband!)?
Big ask I know, but I want to know if there's any of you that work at O2 whether you can 'defer' a free broadband 'subscription'?
Cheers, Mark0 -
Gotta be the N95 8GB (google) there are programs for push email (inculding hotmail) www.emoze.com and also msn, skype etc... www.fring.com which are all free if you have the unlimited internet bolt on.

Did you have to push hard for this?
I just called retentions and they offered me the following
600 mins, 1000 text, internet bolt on, C905 for £24.48 per month
or
600 mins, 1000 text, internet bolt on, C902 for £20.00 per month0 -
Was wondering whether to go for the LG Renoir, but then wondered if O2 were going to stock the LG Arena, which is out next month.
Any O2 peeps know, whether O2 will be stocking the Arena?
Thanks0
