First time I've renewed a phone contract and I've been offered the Nokia 5800 for £15 month, 200 mins and 400 texts with free 02 to 02 calls. 18 month contract. Couldn't get a 12 month contract at all even tho I'm on one now.0

OK so i called retentions again, asking for my PAC and got offered the following:
Sim only (no phone)
600 mins
1000 texts
Unlimited 02 to 02 calls
£150 credit
£15 a month (would usually be £30 per month)
On an 18 month contract
This is much better than my current 200 mins/400 texts for £15 a month, but would mean signing up to an 18 month contract. I'm quite happy with my phone at the moment, but may want to change it in future - this deal would mean i couldn't upgrade for another 18 months. Would i be silly to accept this without a new phone or silly not to given it's free money??0 -
I called up to see if my Nokia 5800 phone had been sent out but they are still waiting on stock coming in. I was sure they'd said that stock would be in yesterday but it turns out that it was just due in this week so it could be any day. It seems to be a very popular phone!0

Wouldn't even bother renewing with O2 if I were you. My phone went on the blink a week ago yesterday. I've stayed in twice for them to send me a new one - but nothing has been delivered and now they want £600 as a termination fee. Avoid O2 like the plague0

That seems a very good deal, works out at only £6.67/month. Are you sure it's 600 mins though? That tarrif is meant to be £35/month, not £30 so the best I've been offered is £20 on that.
Yep pretty sure - i've been with them for years and years so they don;'t want me to walk. I don't actually want that many mins, i'm after an increase in texts and quoted T-Mobile's Solo 15 which currently gives unlimited texts for £15 a month.0 -
