Bottoms, I've fogtten them now. I think there was something like SE W955, there was a new C series but nothing amazing and another. I knew I should have made a note of them.
I love the look of the new Idou, I hope we get that one, it has a 12mp camera!. Mind I borrowed the x1 the other week and it was amazing, I hated giving it back.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

I don't think so. The C905 is a high priced handset on £45pm, LG on £30. More play in the LG.0 -
I'll also take a look for you tomorrow on our spreadsheet.iwanttosave wrote:Bottoms, I've fogtten them now. I think there was something like SE W955, there was a new C series but nothing amazing and another. I knew I should have made a note of them.

Thanks guys, appreciated but don't go to too much trouble! I like Sony Ericsson phones a lot but the C905 is really big so puts me off. Still do like the look of the 5800 though, see what happens I guess.0 -
Hi all
I know from reading this thread that people are saying that you are unlikely to get a deal for upgrade through retentions on a NEW Iphone but wondered if anyone had any joy on this?
I am going to ring next week sometime I think and see what I can get.0 -

This is a good offer and I am contemplating it but would like to move it a 12 months contract. Do you think it would be wise to ask 02 to move it to 12 months and for me to pay £30 a month instead? This way noone loses and I am happier.
I'm going to be in the same situation as yourself tomorrow.
Spoke to a lovely lady on Wednesday but I was one day to early with my upgrade.
She said she would phone me back on Saturday when she is back at work to see what she cn do for me.
Good to know that you can get the Blackberry 8900 via retentions @ £20 per month albeit an 18 month contract.
I'm currently on a £15 12 month contract!
I don't mind paying a wee bit mo for what I realy want and £20 seems really good.
Already paying for O2 Braoadband (got it with £60 quidco cashback), see if I can get that for free no harm in trying
I would also rather have a 12 month contract and if I get offered the £20 18 month deal then I will ask her if I can get it on a 12 month contract, be willing to go up to £25 per month or keep it @ £20 and pay £up to £50 for the handset.
One other thing, my wife is with Orange on a 12 month deal also which ends same time as mine and she wants to come back to O2.
Do you think I could get her on the same offer as myself or maybe be able to just add another account on the same deal and then port her PAC over when she gets it.
Or she only get a standard deal?
cheers now
I don't see why you can't just ask retentions for the same deal they have given you. It's definitely worth a try. Maybe make a point that she was a previous 02 customer. Also I have no real use for the broadband so did not ask for that. I think I may call them to just check about moving to a 12 month deal.
Good luck0 -

Really? That would be quite alright. Just wondering, would this apply to an older tariff from about 3 years ago?
I mean one of the 'online xxx' tariffs? I hear a lot of things like 'cannot add anything to that tariff' or 'it wasn't built to have internet' etc.
A very tempting scenario would be to get the BB bold (paid for if necessary) with the blackberry bolt on included. Feasible? Doable?Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -

I've been with o2 for 5 years now and always fight for one hell of a bargain at the end of my contracts.
I'm currently on, 800 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and free N95 for £35 p/m.
I rang up yesterday to upgrade as I'm in the last month, after 6 phone calls, 2 hours and 3 threats to leave later, I walked away with this...
Free Apple iPhone 3G 16GB, 900 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet, unlimited landline calls, unlimited o2 to o2 calls, only a 12 month contract for £30 a month.:T0 -

What? That must be the best deal I've seen on this thread considering you got the iphone and so many unlimited thingys! Congratulations!
BTW, Supervedder/MRC/IWTS, what do you think of my earlier post (no. 2038)?Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -
Blimey that's fantatsic!!!!!!
It's the 12 month contract that appeals to me though,as my current 18 month one is just about up.
What I have been offered so far is ok for my needs, but I still think there is some more room for negotiation, which is what I'll be doing. That's my mutt in the picture above.0
