  • I've been on the simplicity tarriff (400 mins, 200 texts, unlimited o2 to o2 calls £10 a month) for a few months, before that I was on contract since 2002.

    Just been offered

    200 mins
    400 texts
    Unlimited o2-o2 calls
    Sony w760
    £15 a month

    200 mins
    400 texts
    Unlimited o2-o2 calls
    Nokia 6300
    £10 a month

    200 mins
    400 texts
    Unlimited o2-o2 calls
    £100 credit
    £10 a month

Not sure which is best to take? Or if I can push for more?

    Is this for 18 months?

The phone isn't back in stock until Monday so she can't put in a voucher order but she has noted it on my file and I had already arranged for the phone to be sent out once the stock is back in.

I asked if I could pre order the 5800 for when it came back into stock, and was told no.As my contract has 2.5 weeks to run,I thought the answer would have been yes, saying as I'm currently paying £50pm.
That's my mutt in the picture above.
  • Hi there Bogden,

    Here it is http://www.e2save.com/orange-contract-phone/Blackberry+9000+Bold+Clearance/4/CLBBOLDGPS

Very tempting. Read mobilejunkie's guide for dummies and from previous experience I'm about ready to take them on. What do you think?

    OMM

Just realised that these 'clearance phones' are reconditioned/ex-demo/returns - didn't notice that before. Also no guarantees as to what comes in the box, could be missing some accessories! Deflated! :(

I'm not quite sure how they work it. I've been out of contract for about a month if it makes any difference to them. When I said that I just wanted to arrange it so that they sent it out when it came back in they didn't seem too keen but I pointed out that the Tocco had been out of stock when I'd chosen that so I think they probably thought it wouldn't make sense to let me do it with one phone but not the other.

Can anyone please offer me advice as to what deal you tell O2 you've found when you ring up retentions. I'm after the N95 and am currently plucking up the courage but don't know what to say in terms of a deal I've found
Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time

Please help with my newbie retentions questions! I asked similarly here a while ago but no-one replied so I've not called them :(

What's the cheapest deal I might get a Blackberry Bold with free internet for? And what other companies/persons deal should I quote to get it? (been paying £30 for a few years now without bothering upgrading) I've seen 600xnet for £20/month mentioned, but I hardly ever use it to call and 100 minutes would be plenty, perhaps 200 tops, if this meant I could get it for cheaper (I really need to save money).

Or would I be better just to go for the cheapest 18 month +150 credit no phone deal and risk spending the £280ish on ebay for a phone instead?

Finally would the normal web bolt on be cheaper and/or easier to get than the instant Blackberry email one? (I use webmail and wouldn't need or want emails pushed through so I'm thinking just the normal one would be ok - if I'm missing something here please let me know). Thanks! Glyn

I'm up for renewal. Currently on Discount 250, paying £10 pm with £100 credit, basically £20 for the year. What can I get now? I'm hoping for something similar with a free bolt on like unlimited landline calls as I'm an old O2 customer. Anyone had a recent upgrade from Discount 250?

    Hi,
I think the £20 deal will be about the best you can get. In my experience they won't / don't drop the minute bundles so even if you say you only use 200 mins they probably won't reduce it down.

Give them a call and have a chat about it. I just go through the option 'thinking of leaving o2' and chat with the advisor, just say honestly your contract is up and you're looking at your options, you want a bold, with internet and 200 mins but can't really afford to pay more than £20..see what they say. If its not a good deal just tell them you'll have a think about it!
