Hi guys,
Does anyone know what is the maximum amount of credit that O2 can offer for not taking a phone with their contracts? I'm after the tocco in pink (which O2 do not do) and they have offered £150 credited to my account so that I can buy it elsewhere, however the cheapest I can find it is at £250 - still leaving me £100 to pay. Can I squeeze any more out of them?Comping since Sept 08 - Clothes Show Tickets|Tigi Goody Bag|Cosmo Wins|U2 Goody Bag and Ipod Nano|Top Gear Goody Bag|Galaxy Book - Marian Keyes|Bourjois eyeshadow|Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish|£35 Next Giftcard|£100 Debenhams Giftcard|Kasabian Tickets (thanks to the very kind Shjo558)|2x Ipod Shuffle|Sony mp3 Player|20,000 Nectar Points|0 -

Not sure about O2 direct but CPW O2 have given me £300 credit for a 12 month £25 a month SIM only deal through retentions. Quote this see if O2 will match - gotta be worth a try......:money:In the words of Jerry Maguire "SHOW ME THE MONEY"0 -
Hi all,
Tried searching the thread but can't find anything on it...
Here's my question...
I have a Simplicity £20 sim only contract at the minute, one of the 30 day ones. I'm after a new handset, so do you think there is any way they could either give me one or give me a reduction on a handset and still let me keep the 30 day contract, or would they make me sign a 12/18 month one (which I REALLY don't want to do?!)
Thanks, Mark0 -

30 day contract you supply the handset.
18 month contract they 'give' you one. Don't think you can get a 12 month contract with O2 unless you are already on an old one ( even then you will find your choice of handset very limited ).
They can't give you anything for free when you can leave them on 30 days notice (else we would all be doing it).0 -
grrrr phoned to upgrade and been told i cant till 5th i was told the 3rd when i phoned a few weeks ago0

Just been on to o2 for the 5800 with unlimited texts and 600 mins and the phone free. Told me he could do it for £20 at the cheapest, told him about an offer which would give me the same and 700 mins for just under £19 a month (didn't mention it worked out at that price through cashback) and he said £20 is the cheapest. Tried to haggle a bit more and he asked me about broadband I said we already had it through them and he checked if that would help but came back and said £20 was the lowest.
Cant really be bothered with the hassle of changing networks etc. when ive been with o2 years over the sake of a quid a month especially as thats relying on cashback so accepted that offer and am really chuffed as im paying £35 a month atm for the same so thats a nice £15 less a month0 -

You can get a very decent deal on a 12 month if you have been with them a while- I was offered a C902 with 600 mins/Unlimited Texts/Unlimited Internet for 25 quid a month. However I believe at that price per month you could get a better phone- say an N95 8GB.0
