    unlimited blackberry/internet data
    Blackberry Bold (£49)
    £20 pm 18 months

Sold Blackberry for £300. Aprox £3.20 a month!

I got this offer last night on a Blackberry Curve (free), but DD would prefer the Bold. I spoke to Special Retentions this morning, and was told that if I refuse delivery of the Curve, I can have the Bold for £49.00.

DD is over the moon, so thank you for this.

One contract gone from CPW, 2 more to go.

Wanted a sim only deal, phoned up yesterday and all they could offer me was the standard upgrade deals.

    Phoned again today and got:

    400 mins
    2000 txts
    Unlimited o2 to o2 calls
    Unlimited data
    £15/mo for 18 months + 150 credit -> £6.67/mo

I'm actually a Carphone Warehouse/O2 customer. I quoted your deal when I called Carphone Warehouse today. I wasn't able to get anywhere near as good a deal as yours but I am sooo not complaining. I'm on a sim only deal and managed to get...

    600 mins
    500 text
    Unlimited data
    £35/mo for 18 months > £420 Cashback > £11.67/mo

Thanks very much for the heads up!

Just phoned up to ask for the PAC on my contract phone, telling them I was about to sign up to Vodafone at £5 per month (after Quidco cashback).

After a minute or two of explaining that I just wanted a cheap deal, I was offered 200mins & 400 texts on an 18 month contract - normally £25 per month but, as a 'loyal customer' (I don't see how I'm one of them!) I could have it for £10 per month AND since I didn't want a new phone, it would also come with £150 cashback paid instantly into the account...

    £1.67 per month :D

    I won't have any bills for 15 months :D:D

(previously on the O2 35 12m (400mins/500sms) which in itself was an e2save cashback deal and only really cost about £1.17/month - although that deal came with a phone...)
  • I have just called o2 and been offered 1200 mins, 500 texts and unlimited internet for £26.43 per month icl vat (18 months)
and it comes with a free Balckberry Bold.

I then saw the last but one post re cashback and carphone warehouse. How did you do that? I dont want to accept this and regret it!

I rang O2 a couple of weeks back as my contract has ended. I want a N95 but the deal I was offered was good in terms of minutes/texts but at £25 was too costly, I didn't want to spend any more than £20.

Unfortunately I lost my bottle in terms of haggling and got sent my PAC code, but I don't want it, I would prefer a slightly better deal, help!

I think at £20 you are going to be lucky to get an N95- what were you offered before the PAC was sent out:)?

My original contract was through e2save as a cashback deal, the latest offer is direct with O2. It is effectively cash-up-front so far better than reclaiming.

I just had a specific deal elsewhere that I quoted when requesting my PAC. In the current climate, it seems to make more sense for them to retain a customer at £1.67/month than to let them go elsewhere - there's no reason why others can't get it, or maybe even better.

That's the point of this board really, so we're all clued up as to what they will do when pushed.

I was quoted the other day (not by retentions but by the upgrades dept) the following deal which you might be interested in:
    Free N95 8Gb
    600mins
    1000txt
    1 bolt-on (I wanted the unlimited web)
    £20/mth - 18mths

I was hoping to get it for £20 as saw this post, if you think £25 is a fair deal I might go with it but what do I do now as I have my PAC

As long as you don't use it, it will expire after 30 days and your phone contract will run monthly.
