Is anyone getting offered cheap home broadband thrown in with their mobile deal ?
Havent read this for a while, but a friend of mine was offered this when O2 first launched their broadband, and alledgely they offered to "note" on his account that should he want it in the future he just needs to call and accept. (he couldnt at the time as had just locked into a new contract elsewhere)..
I have never been offered it though..0 -

Is it possible to get the HTC touch HD on o2? mobiles.co.uk have it on the o2 200 tariff but I'd rather get it directly through o2 on upgrade...
Have been with o2 for 10 years or more, and my current contract ended in November, so now they've taken off all the promotional discounts its very expensive! I'm only using about 200mins/200texts per month so don't need a contract with massive allowances.
Looking for a decent phone with a good camera, not really worried about internet or music - any opinions on the best of the following?
HTC touch (if it can be got via o2)
SE C905
Samsung Pixon
LG Renoir
Nokia N95 8gb
Will be giveing them a ring in the morning to see what they can offer!0 -
I bottled my haggling as well, and have taken the Renoir (free) with 600 mins, 1000 txts (don't need them unlimited, never send more than 400 a month) and unlimited web access for £25. Spoke to 3 different retentions people, asking for my PAC each time, and kept getting offered the same deals. Apparently I only had £180 "budget" to discount so opted for the online 35 discounted for 18mths.
LittleTiger82, I can tell you later this week how the Renoir behaves!0 -

Thanks for that, I have seen a similar offer on Orange, 400 mins, unlimited texts, free Renoir for £24.46/month, 18 month contract. Also £50 quidco/topcashback with that so will haggle haggle haggle with o2. Quite fancy orange wednesdays 2 for 1 cinema tickets tho so am gonna have to fight with o2 retentions for a better deal!0 -

No, should of i done??? I did ask for web bolt on. But he said due to the New handset, 12mth contract and paying 24pm. No... If i went for 18 month, Yes i could have a bolt on and only pay 20pm.... However i want to upgrade in October 09 for the N97..... Is that still a good deal....?????..........................0 -
Im not sure ive never done this retentions thing before! But sounds about right i think? - Im going for an 18 month contract in order to get the unlimited txt bolt on so guess i'll have to wait a little longer for an upgrade - just hoping the Nokia 5800 is good enough to keep me happy for 18 months!0
