02 Retentions thread 2

I'm coming to the end of my first O2 contract which I got through e2save. I've been paying £30 a month and had a free nokia phone which I'm happy with. The whole thing has been free through redemption but I need my 12 month bill to reclaim the last £62. If I call 02 to arrange a new contract, can that start the same day/day after my old one or should I wait til that day?

Hi Just phoned again and spoke with a different operator he seemed shocked I was offered a 24 month contract and immediatly offered Nokia 5800 600 mins 1000 txts with unlimited web 25pm 18 mnths . accepeted offer well pleased although apart of me know thinks I could have got him down to £20 or was I right to take this ?

I think you coudl have got it down to £20

just to add to this i have now secured free home BB for 12 months. and they have also added the £3 international thingy for free too. it seems to good to be true considering what all this cost me last year.

Hi all hope this finds you well, same as others my contracts up, Ive been with them since bt celnet days and always been on a 12 month contract. I rung retentions and like normal expect a fight to get the latest nokia. The phones they offer to say the least are below par, in fact below the n95 black 8 gig i got last year. They wouldn't budge at all, so i asked for the code to that my number and they sent it me.

now after ringing up about 6 times they are offering me a N96 free, 1000 mins 1000 texts and 02 to 02 free calls on a 18 month contract at 32 quid a month....

what do you think ive 7 days to except, do you think i should wait till the 97 ( march ive heard ) to come out see if i can get a better deal. She really wouldnt budge on anything else at all.

I was in a similar situation, but forgot that I needed my 12 month bill for OSPS (almost the same as e2save). Anyway the bill has arrived with new tariff on it, I sent it anyway, and got a text confirming they've accepted it today !

My 11 mths free on a 12 mth contract with e2save was due for renewal on 30 January. Fortunately, I was able to upgrade this contact with 02 direct, which I did on 30 January. Even though I am only paying £20 per month, it is still a £35 pm contract. I received the 1 February bill, which I need to claim my last cb and the tariff is the same, before discount. I am sending this bill today and hopefully there won't be any problems - if there are, they will be dealt with.

im so not impressed he was telling me he would do it for £25 if i bought an accessory such as a bluetooth headset for £68


grrrr what do i do know as im not paying £30 i want it down to £25

My gf has a Nokia 6500 which she got free on a 12 month contract with all line rental back by cashback through e2save.

Her contract is up middle of March...

Is she likely to be able to get another 12 month contract with O2 or will they not let her have one and try to force her to get an 18 month contract....

I funkin hate 18 month contracts, who wants to be tied in for that long.... and !!!!!! are 24 month contracts all about?!!??!

I'm guessing as we come towards the end of the quarter, O2 will have some decent offers on e2save etc as they try to improve sales figures before publishing.

ask for your PUK code. did you spend over your bill last time ?
